A method of inducing breeding of crustaceans , comprising:administrating an effective amount of an artificial decapeptide to a crustacean, being configured to promote gonad development of the crustacean, wherein the artificial decapeptide comprises a sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 2.2. The method of inducing breeding of crustaceans of claim 1 , wherein claim 1 , the effective amount of an artificial decapeptide ranges between 10 nanogram (ng) and 1000 nanogram per gram of body weight.3. The method of inducing breeding of crustaceans of claim 1 , further comprising:preparing the artificial decapeptide by mixing with an excipient, and delivering the prepared artificial decapeptide to the crustacean, wherein the excipient comprises an oil.4. The method of inducing breeding of crustaceans of claim 3 , further comprising:formulating the artificial decapeptide with saline before mixing with the excipient, to obtain a solvent; andmixing the solvent and the excipient.5. Based on a status of active link and a relative priority of internal hubs, an internal hub is selected as a transmission channel to receive broadcast traffic from the external hub and direct the broadcast traffic to a corresponding server node. 1. A method , comprising:determining a link status for a plurality of internal hubs communicatively coupled to a plurality of server nodes;based on the link status for the plurality of internal hubs and a set of hub selection rules, selecting a one of the plurality of internal hubs to yield a selected internal hub; andrestricting communications with an external hub exclusively to the selected internal hub.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the restricting comprises:closing a switch communicatively coupled to the selected internal hub and the external hub; andopening other switches communicatively coupled to other ones of the plurality of internal hubs and the external hub.3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the restricting comprises:enabling an output port of the selected internal hub communicatively coupled to the external hub; anddisabling output ports of other ones of the plurality of internal hubs communicatively coupled to the external hub.4. In one configuration, the DFB laser comprises a replica-molded, one- or two-dimensional dielectric grating coated with a laser dye-doped-polymer as the gain medium. A sensor is also described in which the grating layer and the active layer are combined into a single layer. DFB lasers using an inorganic or organic thin film with alternating regions of high and low index of refraction as the active layer are also disclosed. The sensor actively generates its own narrowband high intensity light output without stringent requirements for coupling alignment, thereby resulting in a simple, robust illumination and detection configuration.

An exhaust aftertreatment system may include an exhaust gas passageway and a mixer assembly. The exhaust gas passageway may receive exhaust gas output from a combustion engine. The mixer assembly may be disposed along the exhaust gas passageway and may receive the exhaust gas. The mixer assembly may include a mixer housing, a mixing bowl and an injector housing. The mixing bowl may be disposed within the mixer housing and may include an outer diametrical surface that engages an inner diametrical surface of a wall of the mixer housing. The injector housing may extend through the wall and into an aperture in the mixing bowl. The aperture may define a flow path through which at least a majority of the exhaust gas entering the mixer assembly flows. The mixing bowl may include an upstream end portion having contours directing the exhaust gas toward the injector housing.

An exercise machine weight guide including an uppermost plate with a centrally disposed mounting hole. The mounting hole is designed to accommodate a threaded plug and a securing plug. A weight post with one threaded end and a number of apertures disposed along its length is inserted through the opening of the uppermost plate. The threaded plug has internal threads for securing over the threaded end of the weight post. The securing plug is positioned over the threaded plug and engages, of a corresponding set of threads, with the threads located within the mounting hole. A number of weights are disposed below the uppermost plate. The lower surface of each weight has a groove which allows a connector pin to pass under the weight and through an aperture of the weight post. The threaded plug is rotated to tighten the assembly to form a single mass of weight and securing plug is rotated to tighten against the threaded plug locking the threaded plug in place. To change the weight, the procedure is reversed.
