One example communication method includes establishing dual connections to a first access network device and a second access network device by a terminal device. The battery comprises: a porous metal positive electrode plate having a plurality of pores filled with positive electrode material, which is used in a cathode reaction within the battery; a porous metal negative electrode plate having a plurality of pores filled with negative electrode material, which is used in an anode reaction within the battery; a first separating film arranged between the porous metal positive electrode plate and the porous metal negative electrode plate; and a second separating film covering a lower surface of the porous metal negative electrode plate, the lower surface is not in contact with the first separating film. According to the disclosure, the battery's cathode and anode are made of porous metals respectively filled with the positive electrode material and the negative electrode material. As such, internal resistances of the positive and the negative electrodes of the battery are reduced, thereby enabling the battery to charged and discharged rapidly.

This application provides a DRX configuration method, a terminal device, a network device, and a communications system. The DRX configuration method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, N discontinuous reception DRX configurations sent by a network device, where the N DRX configurations respectively correspond to N groups of carriers; and when a DRX status of the terminal device is an active state, if M groups of carriers in the N groups of carriers are activated carriers, monitoring, by the terminal device, a physical downlink control channel on a specified carrier based on M DRX configurations corresponding to the M groups of carriers. In the DRX configuration manner, the terminal device simultaneously uses a plurality of DRX configurations in an overlay manner, thereby meeting quality of service requirements of different services sent by the terminal device. In addition, the terminal device simultaneously uses the plurality of DRX configurations in an overlay manner, so as to reduce unnecessary physical downlink control channel monitoring in a process of monitoring the physical downlink control channel, thereby reducing energy consumption of the terminal device.

The present invention discloses a data communication method and a device, to resolve a prior-art problem of a high latency for switching a terminal device from an idle mode to a connected mode. The method includes: prestoring, by a terminal device, a TA indication list of a group of cell; performing, by the terminal device, cell selection or reselection, and obtaining a cell identity of a cell obtained after the selection or reselection; querying, by the terminal device based on the cell identity, the TA indication list of the group of cell for a TA value corresponding to the cell identity; and if the terminal device successfully finds, in the TA indication list of the group of cell, the TA value corresponding to the cell identity, sending, by the terminal device, an uplink Radio Resource Control RRC message in a random access-free manner. The foregoing solution is used for a terminal device, to reduce a latency for switching the terminal device from an idle mode to a connected mode.

This application relates to an RRC connection resume method and a device. A first network device receives an RRC connection resume request message from a terminal device, where the terminal device is in an RRC inactive state. The first network device sends a first message to a second network device, where auxiliary information included in the first message includes information used by the terminal device to perform redirection and/or information used by the terminal device to perform cell reselection, the first network device is a network device on which the terminal device camps, and the second network device is an anchor network device of the terminal device. The first network device receives an RRC release message from the second network device, and the first network device sends the RRC release message to the terminal device. The RRC release message may be generated by the anchor network device of the terminal device, and does not need to be generated by the network device on which the terminal device currently camps. Therefore, the network device on which the terminal device currently camps may not need to transfer a context of the terminal device or the like to the network device, so that steps that need to be performed and a latency are reduced.
