The present invention relates to a pipe and a method for manufacturing same. A pipe body is manufactured by mixing three types of slag generated during a steelmaking process with one type of industrial by-product, and contains 45-55 wt% of silicon dioxide (SiO2), 10-15 wt% of iron oxide (Fe2O3), 10-15 wt% of aluminum oxide (Al2O3), 8-13 wt% of calcium oxide (CaO) and 10-15 wt% of magnesium oxide (MgO) as main components, and inevitably mixed impurities. A pipe exhibiting excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance may be manufactured through the steps of: preparing three types of slag generated during a steelmaking process, and one type of industrial by-product; measuring the slag and the by-product, and controlling the composition ratio thereof; mixing the slag and the by-product; melting the composition; thermally insulating the molten material; centrifugally casting the molten material into the form of a pipe; and annealing the molded article.
