Изобретение относится к способу обработки древесины, в частности к способу получения модифицированной древесины. Способ получения модифицированной древесины включает пропитку заготовок, сушку, прессование и термообработку. Пропитку заготовок осуществляют 30-40%-ным водным раствором карбамида, содержащим форконденсат карбамидоформальдегидного олигомера в количестве 10-12% от массы сухого карбамида. При этом в пропиточный раствор добавляют отвердитель - карбамидоформальдегидную смолу марки ПКП-52 в количестве 21-25% от массы карбамидоформальдегидного олигомера. Перед термообработкой на древесину в течение 30 секунд воздействуют импульсным магнитным полем с амплитудой 0,5 Тл, частотой следования импульсов 50 Гц и длительностью треугольных импульсов по основанию 30 мкс, термообработку проводят при температуре 140-160°С. A method of manufacturing a treated wooden drumstick from an untreated wooden drumstick profile having an exterior surface , comprising exposing the exterior surface of the untreated drumstick to a flame , thereby altering wood fibers in an outer layer of the treated drumstick relative to inner wood fibers below the outer layer in the treated drumstick.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the flame has a temperature of at least 2000 degrees F.3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the flame has a temperature within the range of approximately 2000 degrees F. to approximately 4000 degrees F.4. The method of claim 4 , including the steps of(a) selecting a wooden dowel that is dried to a moisture content in the range of 6-10%;(b) shaping the pre-dried dowel into a drumstick profile to produce the untreated drumstick; and(c) treating the untreated drumstick by exposing the outer surface to a flame having a temperature within the approximate range of 2000 degrees F. to 4000 degrees F. to produce the treated drumstick.5. The method of claim 4 , wherein the flame temperature is over 3000 degrees F.6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the step (c) of treating is performed by exposing the exterior surface of the untreated drumstick to the flame at a feed rate of approximately 5-15 feet per minute.7. The method of claim 4 , comprising the additional step of (d) applying a coating of lacquer to the treated drumstick.8. A durable palm fiber composite material is obtained by impregnating an unprocessed palm bark in a resin adhesive solution prepared by using a palm leaf as a raw material and then hot-pressing. The palm bark is dried under a natural state without additional processing. The palm leaf is made into a tannin resin adhesive solution under the effect of additives such as furfuryl alcohol, paraformaldehyde, and others. A pH value of the adhesive solution is controlled to be 9-11. A solid content is 40-60%. An adhesive amount applied to the palm bark by the resin adhesive solution is 800-1500 g/m. Odd number of layers (three or more layers) of palm barks that are impregnated by the resin adhesive solution and are hot-pressed to the composite material. Hot-pressed parameters are as follows: the temperature is 150-180° C. the unit pressure is 0.8-1.5 MPa, and the time is 10-30 s/mm. 1. The present invention is related to a method for preserving wood against undesirable reactions caused by microorganisms. The invention also concerns wood preserved against molds, blue-stain fungi and rot fungi. According to the method, the wood being preserved is treated with a substance capable of inhibiting the growth of microorganisms, whereby said substance is penetrated into the wood at least essentially deeper than superficially. According to the invention, such a substance used in the method is a complexing agent, e.g., EDTA, which is capable of binding transition metals contained in the wood, whereby the complexing agent is first impregnated into the wood in a water-based solution, and subsequent to the impregnation step, the complexing agent impregnated into the wood is precipitated from the aqueous phase. The complexing agent can be precipitated by, e.g. lowering the pH of the wood, or alternatively, altering the temperature of the wood after the impregnation step. According to the invention, the complexing agent precipitated into the wood forms a reserve depot, whereby the substance re-dissolving from the depot is capable of binding transition metals entering the wood via rainwater or contamination.
