The method for manufacturing a positive electrode active material requires fewer control variables compared to a coprecipitation method, makes the introduction of an additional aluminum doping process unnecessary, can synthesize a quaternary positive electrode active material precursor (NCMA precursor) including aluminum in a precursor synthesis step using a simple solvothermal synthesis method without changing an existing process, and as a result, can synthesize a spherical positive electrode active material with a uniform size.
