The present invention relates to a silicone hydrogel composition for homogeneous contact lenses, and to contact lenses using the same. Specifically, the silicone hydrogel composition for contact lenses is prepared by copolymerizing the silicone-based monomer with an acrylic monomer having a hydroxyl group in a mixture of a silicone-based monomer, an acrylic monomer having a hydroxyl group, a crosslinker, and an initiator, wherein the hydroxyl group of the acrylic monomer is protected by a trimethylsilyl group for copolymerization, and then the hydroxyl group is deprotected by hydrolysis and exposed from the copolymer.
