The present invention relates to 2-mercaptomethyl-propan1,3-dithiol polyethylene glycol which is adsorbed onto the surface of metal when a metal nanosensor is being manufactured such that adsorption of non-specific protein can be inhibited, and a preparation method thereof. The 2-mercaptomethyl-propan1,3-dithiol polyethylene glycol for reforming a metal surface of the present invention is represented by chemical formula 1.
