The polarizing plate of the present invention includes a polyvinyl-alcohol-based polarizing film, a protective film mainly composed of a cyclic-olefin-based resin and laminated on at least one side of the polarizing film, and an anchor coat agent film and an adhesive layer interposed between the polarizing film and the protective film. The amount of change in optical in-plane retardation of the protective film is 5 nm or less, after 24 hours in an atmosphere of 80° C., and the wetting tension of the laminated surface is 500 muN/cm (23° C.) or more. The anchor coat agent is made of polyester polyol and polyisocyanate, and the adhesive layer is made of polyvinyl-alcohol-based adhesive.

An image forming apparatus , comprising:a fixing device to fix a toner image on a recoding medium;a compressed air generator to generate a compressed air;an air nozzle to inject the compressed air to separate the recording medium having the fixed toner image from the fixing device;a first switching unit to switch the air nozzle between injection and termination, the first switching unit being provided upstream from the air nozzle; anda buffer unit to retain the compressed air, the buffer unit being provided upstream from the air nozzle and downstream from the first switching unit.2. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the air nozzle has an injection outlet having an area of 1 mmor less.3. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the buffer unit is comprised of a piping that connects the air nozzle and the first switching unit.4. A radiation detector of this invention has a barrier layer on the upper surface of a high resistance film along the outer edge of a common electrode, which enables prevention of a chemical reaction between an amorphous semiconductor layer and a curable synthetic resin. The barrier layer is adhesive to the curable synthetic resin film, and this can prevent strength being insufficient, such that temperature changes cause separation in interfaces between the barrier layer and curable synthetic resin film, thereby reducing the effect of inhibiting warpage and cracking. The material for the barrier layer is an insulating material not including a substance that would chemically react with the amorphous semiconductor layer. This can prevent components of the material for the barrier layer from chemically reacting with the semiconductor layer. Consequently, creeping discharge at the outer edge of the common electrode where electric fields concentrate can be prevented.
