A suction device comprising a collection port and inlet 5, a source of compressed propellant gas substantially free of CO2 4, a venturi pump 2 having a motive gas port 2a coupled to the gas source, suction port 2b and discharge outlet 2d, and a means in communication with the collection port for collecting the received fluid in a container 1 or venting the fluid via non-return valve. The compressed gas may be a hydrofluoroalkane or hydrofluoroolefin. The container may comprise a liner within a container or an inflatable container comprising an air pocket between outer and inner surfaces that may connect with the discharge outlet. The device may comprise a cap providing an interface between the inlet, venturi pump and collection container. The cap may be reversible, providing a storage configuration with the inlet and venturi pump inside the container, and a ready configuration with them disposed externally.

A releasable connection arrangement comprising a base portion (200 fig. 7) with a clamp stud (212); and a head portion 100 comprising a stud catch mechanism having a stud catch plate 114 and a stud release lever 130 that moves the stud catch plate axially towards and away from the clamp stud so that the stud catch plate can engage and disengage the clamp stud. The base portion and head portion each further comprise corresponding engagement surfaces and wherein the head portion further comprises an adjustment mechanism to adjust the connection between the head portion and the base portion. The head portion further comprises a platform assembly located away from the engagement surface comprising means for attaching to another item.
