A charge air duct for an internal combustion engine includes a housing with at least one entrance and at least one exit for charge air. Essas válvulas podem ser progressivamente ajustáveis para produzir principalmente um movimento de rotação na corrente de ar de combustão. Neste caso, é necessária uma elevada precisão angular no posicionamento da válvula. The invention relates to a valve (10) which is essentially composed of a flap (13), a flap frame (12) and a unitary housing (11). Said flap (13) is rotatably received in the flap frame (12) and it is arranged in said flap frame (12) so that, in a closed position, it allows only minimal leakage which is of no significance to the operation thereof. The flap frame (12) has a precision region (21) for preventing an abrupt flow change. The unitary housing (11) is cast in a tool wherein the pre-mounted valve parts (12, 13) are arranged. Direct casting of the housing (11) around the valve parts (12, 13), enables the production of several housing parts, mounting and sealing to be dispensed with. Said housing (11) can be connected to adjacent components in a leakproof manner and in addition, connecting sleeves for crankcase ventilation or tank ventilation etc.can be integrated to said housing (11). Said valve (10) can be used as a butterfly valve for a combustion engine.

Es wird ein Kernausschmelzverfahren zur Herstellung einer Hohlraumstruktur beansprucht, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass der zur Anwendung kommende Schmelzkern (11) in der Form (12) durch mindestens ein Einlegeteil (14) fixiert wird, wobei das Einlegeteil Teil des herzustellenden Bauteils (10) wird. Dies wird durch Eingiessen des Einlegeteils in die Hohlraumstruktur erreicht. Auf diese Weise entstehen in der zu fertigenden Hohlraumstruktur (10) keine Öffnungen zur Positionierung des Schmelzkernes (11), die anschliessend durch einen Deckel verschlossen werden müssten. Das vorgestellte Verfahren ist daher vorteilhafterweise dazu geeignet, die Zuverlässigkeit des hergestellten Bauteiles sowie die Fertigungskosten günstig zu beeinflussen.
