The component being modified is based on a corresponding component of the original media asset. Metadata for each of the plurality of components is generated that indicates whether each component is a modified component, and the metadata of the modified component indicates a type of modification made to the modified component.

The invention relates to a method for operating a driver assistance system () of a motor vehicle (), in which a rear image of an environmental region () of the motor vehicle () located substantially next to and/or behind the motor vehicle () is captured by at least one camera () of the driver assistance system (), the camera being provided on the vehicle, wherein at least one road marking () of a roadway () is recognized in the environmental region () based on the captured rear image. 1. A method for operating a driver assistance system of a motor vehicle , comprising:capturing a rear image of an environmental region of the motor vehicle located substantially next to and/or behind the motor vehicle by at least one camera of an electronic rearview mirror of the driver assistance system; anddisplaying the rear image on a display device in the motor vehicle; andidentifying at least one road marking of a roadway in the environmental region based on the captured rear image.2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the rear image is captured reflection-mirrorless.3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein a lateral distance from a longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle to the at least one road marking is determined based on the at least one identified road marking.4. The method according to claim 1 , further comprising determining a lateral speed claim 1 , at which the motor vehicle approaches the at least one recognized road marking based on the at least one identified road marking.5. The method according to claim 4 , further comprising:determining a period of time left until traversing the road marking by the motor vehicle depending on the determined lateral speed.6. The jacks 35, 58 may either be each connected directly to a group of flaps, or be all connected to a single annular ring 69, Fig. 7, which is in turn connected to the flaps. [Also in Division B7] A gas turbine jet propulsion engine comprises in flow series a compressor, combustion equipment and a turbine driving the compressor and one or more orientable propulsion nozzles which receive the exhaust gases from the turbine and a part of the air compressed by the compressor, this air having by-passed the combustion equipment and turbine. In the two-shaft by-pass engine shown, two nozzles 28 are provided and are rotatable about an axis 30 by an air motor (Fig. 2, not shown). The cold flow passes into a manifold 20 encircling the engine through an annular duct 18 and the hot flow passes into the manifold through a chamber 25 and a duct 22, guide vanes 21, 27 imparting a circumferential velocity component to the gases. In a modification (Fig. 4, not shown) the vanes 21 are dispensed with and the vanes 27 are replaced by a series of nozzles. Alternatively (Figs. 5 and 6, not shown) the vanes 27 may be dispensed with and the vanes 21 replaced by a perforated plate. The engine may be of the single shaft type with the cold flow provided by a fan, the blades of which are mounted on the tips of the compressor blades. The engine thrust may be increased by burning fuel in the duct 18 or in the duct 22. The invention is also applicable to engines with centrifugal compressors. The engine is fitted in the fuselage of an aircraft with the axis 30 passing through the centre of gravity and two vertically disposed lift engines may also be provided, one ahead of and one behind the unit.

The associations among the particular user and the selected BIOS modules and settings are stored in the server computer system. The selected BIOS modules and settings are downloaded from the server computer system to the client computer system when the particular user causes the client computer system to start booting, i.e. when the particular user is the current user. The client computer system is then booted utilizing these downloaded BIOS modules and settings. The client computer system is booted utilizing BIOS modules and settings received from the server computer system in order to customize the client computer system according to the current user's preferences.

A semiconductor data storage element comprises first and second charge storage elements 12, 14 connected between respective first and second data lines BL, BL' and the first and second emitter terminals of a dual emitter bipolar transistor 10. The transistor 10 has a collector terminal connected to a reference voltage R and a base control terminal connected to an address line W. The transistor 10 has conductive and non-conductive modes of operation selectable in accordance with a voltage applied to the address line W. Data is written to and read from the data storage element under the control of signals applied to the two data lines BL, BL' and the address line W with the data being stored on the two charge storage elements 12, 14. The two charge storage elements store complementary charges representative of a data value being stored. When data is read with the transistor 10 in its conductive mode of operation the complementary charges are reduced to substantially the same level thereby producing a differential voltage between the first and second data lines BL, BL' in accordance with the binary value, obviating the need for a dummy cell. <IMAGE>

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A low energy consumption water circulator device for creating a flow of water in a body of water. The device comprises a support raft to sit on the body of water. A number of photovoltaic panels are mounted on the raft to generate electrical energy. A DC motor which drives a propeller at a low angular velocity is suspended from the raft in the water body. The motor receives its power from the photovoltaic panels. An intake pipe with an outlet end positioned close to the surface of the water body and an inlet end close to the middle elevation depths of the water body is suspended from the raft so that the propeller, during operation, is located in the intake pipe. A water circulation device is associated with the outlet end of the intake pipe to change the direction of the water leaving the outlet end of the pipe so that it reaches the surface of the water body and does not immediately plunge back downwards. The water circulator device is designed primarily for use in remote sites, particularly where there is no access to grid electricity.

A method of producing heat strengthened glass in which the glass is heated to a temperature above its strain point and is then cooled while horizontally supported. Discontinuous support is provided for the glass as it is cooled by intermittent regional contact with the lower surface of the glass, whereby any pattern of iridescence resulting from heat transfer between the lower glass surface and the support is free of prominent continuous features. A glass treatment furnace for producing heat strengthened glass, has horizontal glass-supporting rollers and cooling-flow supply means in the vicinity of those rollers, the bearing surface of each roller comprising discontinuous bearing elements which provide intermittent regional support contact with the lower surface of the glass.

A method and system for booting up a computer system in a secure fashion is disclosed. The method and system comprise determining the presence of a security feature element during an initialization of the computer system wherein the security feature element includes a public key and a corresponding private key, storing a portion of the public key in a nonvolatile memory within the computer system if the security feature element is present and utilizing an algorithm to determine the presence of the security feature element prior to a subsequent boot-up of the computer system. Through the use of the present invention, a computer system is capable of being booted up whereby the computer system determines if a security feature element was previously present in the system. If a security feature element was previously present in the computer system, any stored keys, along with the secrets that they protect, are prevented from being compromised. It is also an object of the present invention to preclude the system from compromising any keys and associated secrets if a security feature element in the system was not previously present in the system.

A rolling element bearing includes a first ring having a first raceway; a second ring having a second raceway, and rolling elements between the two raceways. The first and second rings are positioned and configured so that the first and second raceways form a channel which retains the rolling elements. A first zinc alloy plated layer is on the first ring including at the first raceway, and a second zinc alloy plated layer is on the second ring including at the second raceway. The rolling elements may also be plated with a zinc alloy layer. The layers are porous and thus permit hydrogen to escape from the rings and rolling elements when baked, so that the rings and rolling elements possess low hydrogen embrittlement. The layers provide physical and galvanic protection to the underlying substrates for the rings.
