According to one embodiment, an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry configured to select at least one heartbeat from among a plurality of heartbeats based on a heartbeat selection condition, generate a highlight image in which a range corresponding to the selected heartbeat is emphasized, and display an electrocardiographic waveform corresponding to the heartbeats, an ultrasonic image corresponding to the electrocardiographic waveform, and the highlight image. 1.
