A joining device includes a pair of cylindrical rotors and , holding surfaces and of which for holding a pair of sheet-like members , respectively, have a width smaller than a width of the pair of sheet-like members . The joining device has a conveyance unit which superimposes the pair of sheet-like members sequentially while conveying the pair of sheet-like members, by rotating the pair of cylindrical rotors, and joining units (first joining units ) which join portions of the superimposed pair of sheet-like members to each other sequentially, the portions protruding beyond the holding surfaces of the cylindrical rotors. 112-. A joining device , comprising:a conveyance unit that includes a pair of cylindrical rotors, holding surfaces of which for holding a pair of sheet-like members, respectively, have a width smaller than a width of the pair of sheet-like members, the conveyance unit superimposing the pair of sheet-like members sequentially while conveying the pair of sheet-like members by rotating the pair of cylindrical rotors; anda joining unit that joins portions of the pair of superimposed sheet-like members to each other, the portions protruding beyond the holding surfaces of the cylindrical rotors.14. The joining device according to claim 13 , wherein the joining unit performs joining immediately after the sheet-like members are separated from the cylindrical rotors.15. The joining device according to claim 14 , further comprising:a conveying path that is a path for conveying the joined sheet-like members, and has a gap in a middle of a conveying direction; anda second joining unit that is arranged between the gap, and joins portions of the sheet-like members which were superimposed on the cylindrical rotors.16. The joining device according to claim 13 , wherein the joining unit is provided directly beneath rotating shafts of the cylindrical rotors.17.
