A removable cleaning fluid supply tank is mounted to a rear portion of the cleaner housing, having depressions formed thereon to aid removal, and retained thereon by the seal between the supply tank and the housing. A recharging base for the cleaner has a guide pin and electrical connector for aligning to form an electrical connection with a battery charging circuit.

An ablation catheter stores a platelet inhibitor substance within a plurality of pockets or recesses of its shaft. The substance is adapted to elute upon contact with biological fluid. In the pocket configuration, the platelet inhibitor substance is in a capsule positioned within the pocket. In the recess configuration, the platelet inhibitor substance is in a hydrogel or silicone-based porous/semi-porous matrix positioned within the recess. Elution of the platelet inhibitor substance prevents or at least substantially minimizes the adhesion of blood platelets on the catheter surface during ablation. In another configuration, the catheter includes an internal lumen network having apertures terminating at the surface of the shaft. The lumen communicates with a source of platelet inhibitor fluid that is forced through the lumen by a variable pump.

In one embodiment, the tool is made from a rigid material. In another embodiment, the PTA catheter support structure and/or the handle portion are made from a malleable material to facilitate forming to a desired shape. After treating one site, the tool may then be bent to a new desired configuration to treat the same or additional sites. In another embodiment, the PTA catheter manipulation tool incorporates, either internally or externally, a fluid delivery system that provides fluid to cool the PTA catheter support structure and/or the treatment site. In another embodiment, the support structure is pivotally mounted such that when pressed against the treatment site, the support structure will automatically position itself flush with the surface being treated.

Alternating first and second periods of time establish repetitive bipolar current flow between electrode sets. The addition of a backplate establishes unipolar current flow.

Techniques for utilizing a bonding agent that allows a solder reflow process to occur at a lower reflow temperature. One area of use includes semiconductor device manufacturing processes. The bonding agent is placed between a solder ball and a contact surface. The bonding agent has a melting temperature that is lower than that of the solder ball. Reflow is then performed at a relative low temperature that is high enough for reflowing the bonding agent, yet at the same time, lower than what would be necessary to reflow the solder material. Since, the electrical system is not subjected to the high temperatures necessary for reflowing the solder material, the electronic system experiences less high-temperature related damage.

The processor also monitors the spread between the sensor temperatures and compares it to a threshold value. A moisture resistant rotor sleeve comprising:a plurality of stacked laminations forming a sleeve having an outer periphery, an inner periphery, and spaces between adjacent laminations; anda sealant applied into said spaces between said adjacent laminations, wherein said sealant seals said spaces to prevent air from traveling through said spaces of said sleeve between said inner periphery and said outer periphery.2. The rotor sleeve of claim 1 , wherein said sleeve does not have sealant on at least one of a sleeve inner periphery surface and a sleeve outer periphery surface.3. The rotor sleeve of claim 1 , wherein said sleeve further comprises said sealant on at least one of a sleeve inner periphery surface and a sleeve outer periphery surface.4. The rotor sleeve of claim 1 , wherein said sealant is applied in substantially the entire space between said adjacent laminations from said inner periphery to said outer periphery.5. The rotor sleeve of claim 1 , wherein said sealant is one of a varnish claim 1 , an anaerobic wicking grade thread locker claim 1 , a casting porosity sealant claim 1 , a polyurethane claim 1 , and an enamel paint.6. A method for securing a permanent magnet within a rotor core is described. The rotor core includes a first end and a second end and at least one permanent magnet opening configured to receive the permanent magnet. The method includes coupling a first rotor end lamination to the first end of the rotor core. The first lamination includes at least one inner wall that defines an opening within the first lamination that corresponds to the permanent magnet opening in the rotor core. The first lamination includes a bridge portion positioned between the at least one inner wall and an outer edge of the first rotor end lamination. The method also includes positioning a permanent magnet at least partially within the permanent magnet opening and mechanically deforming the bridge portion of the first lamination to secure the permanent magnet within the permanent magnet opening. 1. A method for securing a permanent magnet within a rotor core that includes a first end , a second end , and at least one permanent magnet opening configured to receive the permanent magnet , the permanent magnet extending between the first end and the second end , said method comprising:coupling a first rotor end lamination to the first end of the rotor core, the first rotor end lamination including at least one inner wall that defines the permanent magnet opening within the first rotor end lamination that corresponds to the at least one permanent magnet opening in the rotor core, the first rotor end lamination also including a bridge portion positioned between the at least one inner wall and an outer edge of the first rotor end lamination;positioning the permanent magnet at least partially within the at least one permanent magnet opening; andmechanically deforming the bridge portion of the first rotor end lamination to secure the permanent magnet within the at least one permanent magnet opening.2. Low value pitch, also known as asphalt, is used for combustion fuel. In addition to the steam generation, byproducts of the combustion process can be utilized in solvent injections or as a diluent.

The electrode is thereby spring loaded to adopt a substantially planar orientation in a relaxed state but is capable of bending to a non planar orientation wherein the electrode is folded about the hinge to facilitate intrathoracic introduction. After introduction, the spring loaded hinge causes the electrode to adopt its relaxed substantially planar orientation for attachment on or near the heart surface. Due to the preferential bending in the "conductor-free" region, the electrode conductive elements are not permanently or substantially deform during implantation.

A chair includes a base, a seat operably supported on the base for depth adjustment, and a back operably supported by an upright that extends from the base for recline. A guide catheter system comprises a guide catheter comprising a flexible shaft defining a longitudinal axis and having a proximal end, a distal end, and a main lumen; a navigator catheter having a proximal end, a distal end, and a central lumen, the navigator catheter longitudinally displaceable within the main lumen of the guide catheter, the distal end of the navigator catheter dimensioned for passage into an angled vein distal to a patient's coronary sinus ostium, the central lumen dimensioned to receive a longitudinally displaceable guide wire; and a deflection arrangement provided at the distal end of the navigator catheter for directing the guide wire into the angled vein, the deflection arrangement imparting a bend at the distal end of the navigator catheter having an angle sufficient to facilitate passage of the distal end of the navigator catheter into the angled vein, wherein the deflection arrangement comprises a deflection mechanism that imparts the bend angle, the deflection mechanism controllable from the proximal end of the navigator catheter.

A system and method for navigating coronary vasculature involves use of a guide catheter system (70) which includes a guide catheter (72), a navigator catheter (74) longitudinally displaceable within the guide catheter, and a deflection arrangement provided at a distal end of the navigator catheter. The guide catheter is advanced to at least a patient's coronary sinus ostium, and the navigator catheter is extended from the guide catheter to a location proximate or within an angled vein distal to the coronary sinus ostium. Using the deflection arrangement, a guide wire (76) passing through the navigation catheter is directed into the angled vein. A lead having an open lumen is advanced over the guide wire to direct the lead to an implant site within the angled vein.

A chair (20) includes a base (21), a seat (22) operably supported on the base for depth adjustment, and a back (23) operably supported by an upright (24) that extends from the base for recline. The back includes a structural back support (25), a rear cover (26) covering a rear side of the back support, and a front/lower concave cover (27) covering the upright between a rear of the seat and below the back support to provide a one-piece back and seat appearance. The concave cover defines a concavity (28) shaped to receive a rear (29) of the seat to facilitate depth adjustment, but so that the one-piece back and seat appearance is maintained. The concave cover further includes upwardly extending tabs (94) that engage a front side of the back, and includes a lower portion that wraps around the lower marginal edge and onto a rear surface of the back support, and the concave cover includes an upwardly facing flange (90) that overlaps the lower marginal edge of the back support to trap the lower portion against the lower marginal edge. A vertically adjustable lumbar support (56) is operably mounted on the back support for vertical movement, and handles (82) are provided that move along vertical side edges of the back along a path that is non-parallel the vertical path of the lumbar support.

Permanent magnet rotors and methods of assembling the same

A method for securing a permanent magnet within a rotor core is described. The rotor core includes a first end and a second end and at least one permanent magnet opening configured to receive the permanent magnet. The method includes coupling a first rotor end lamination to the first end of the rotor core. The first lamination includes at least one inner wall that defines an opening within the first lamination that corresponds to the permanent magnet opening in the rotor core. The first lamination includes a bridge portion positioned between the at least one inner wall and an outer edge of the first rotor end lamination. The method also includes positioning a permanent magnet at least partially within the permanent magnet opening and mechanically deforming the bridge portion of the first lamination to secure the permanent magnet within the permanent magnet opening.
