The present invention provides a display device which can realize the positioning with high accuracy in mounting a display panel to a casing. Further, the present invention provides a display device which can simplify the mounting structure of a display panel and can mount and fix the display panel to a casing easily and with high accuracy. A pair of mounting holes are formed in both ends of a peripheral portion along one side of an OLED panel which performs an image display. By allowing fixing members to pass through the pair of mounting holes, the OLED panel per se becomes the mounting reference and is positioned with respect to the casing with high accuracy. Further, by forming notched portions on another side of the OLED panel which faces one side of the OLED panel in an opposed manner, the OLED panel is supported on a plurality of points and hence, the OLED panel is positioned and fixed with high accuracy.

The present invention overcomes image defects such as the brightness inclination or smears by reducing the line resistance of a power source bus line which supplies electricity to organic EL elements. A plurality of pixels which are arranged in a matrix array is connected to power source lines, and the plurality of power source lines are connected to a power source bus line. Both ends of the power source bus line are connected to a power source part via a FPC. By supplying electricity to both ends of the power source bus line from the power source part, the line resistance of the power source bus line can be reduced.

A light-emitting element display device includes: a display area which has an organic insulating layer that is made of an organic insulating material; a peripheral circuit area which is disposed around the display area and which has the organic insulating layer; and a blocking area that is formed between the display area and the peripheral circuit area. The blocking area includes: a first blocking area configured by only one or a plurality of inorganic material layers between an insulating base substrate and an electrode layer which covers the display area and is formed continuously from the display area, and which configures one of two electrodes for allowing the light emitting area to emit the light; and a second blocking area including a plurality of layers configuring the first blocking area, and a light emitting organic layer.
