A system and method are proposed for identifying multimedia files in a first database which are related to a textual term specified by a user. The textual term is used to search a second database of multimedia files, each of which is associated with a portion of text. The “second database” is usually composed of files from the databases of a very large number of servers connected via the internet. The multimedia files identified in the search are ones for which the corresponding associated text is relevant to the textual term. The identified multimedia files are used to generate a classifier engine. The classifier engine is then applied to the first database of multimedia files, thereby retrieving multimedia files in the first database which are relevant to the textual term. The user can optionally specify whether the retrieved multimedia files are relevant or not, and this permits a feedback process to improve the classifier engine. 1. In embodiments of the present invention an undoped amorphous, nanocrystalline or microcrystalline semiconductor layer and a heavily doped amorphous, nanocrystalline, or microcrystalline semiconductor layer are formed on a monocrystalline silicon lamina. The lamina is the base region of a photovoltaic cell, while the amorphous, nanocrystalline or monocrystalline layers serve to passivate the surface of the lamina, reducing recombination at this surface. The undoped and heavily doped layers are deposited at low temperature, for example about 150 degrees C. or less with hydrogen dilution. A method for fabricating InP-based high electron-mobility transistors (HEMTs) and GaAs-based metamorphic electron-mobility transistors (MHEMTs) by utilizing asymmetrically recessed Γ-gates and self-aligned ohmic electrodes is disclosed. The fabrication starts with mesa isolation, followed by gate recess and gate metal deposition, in which the gate foot is placed asymmetrically in the recess groove, with the offset towards the source. It is important to use Γ-gates as the shadow mask for ohmic metal deposition, because it allows a source-gate spacing as small as 0.1 micron, greatly reducing the critical source resistance, and it retains a relatively large gate-drain spacing, enabling a decent breakdown voltage when coupled with the asymmetric gate recess. It is also critical to maintain a large stem height of the Γ-gates to assure a sufficient gap between the top of the gates and the ohmic metal after its deposition to reduce the parasitic capacitance. The uniqueness of this technology would best fit the applications that require low voltage and/or low DC power consumption. 1. A method of assessing in vivo skin sensitizing activity of a compound , comprising: (a) culturing cells of an in vitro cell model in a medium; (b) adding a test compound at a concentration to the culture medium comprising the cells; (c) measuring secretion level of one or more cytokine markers of the cells; (d) analyzing correlation of the concentration applied in step (b) with the secretion level measured in step (c); and (e) determining in vivo sensitization value based on the analysis of step (d).2. A method comprising:monitoring queries executed by a database management system (DBMS) including a database object;determining an access frequency of the database object based upon the monitoring;determining relative access counter information for the database object based at least in part on the access frequency;generating a sorted element based on the relative access counter information;determining threshold values based on threshold information and the sorted element; anddetermining a load unit for the database object based on the sorted element and the threshold values.2. Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for providing read queries latch-free access to an index page. In an embodiment, a processor receives a request from a read query to access one or more records of an index page. The index page includes an update pointer and a slot array. The processor locates one or more updates prepended to the index page by locating a most recently prepended update indicated by the update pointer. Then, the processor generates a local offset table with entries in the slot array and the located one or more updates. The generated local offset table enables the processor to provide the read query access to the one or more records of the index page.
