The present invention relates to a carbonated drinking water generator which is installed to a water purification line of a refrigerator, etc., and produces carbonated water by contacts made between carbonated gas and water. The carbonated water generator of the present invention receives purified water and carbonated gas at a storage tank, and has a circulation line which absorbs and reapplies water and carbonated gas in the storage tank when generating carbonated water in the storage tank. Further, the carbonated water generator has a cyclic compression pump and an orifice installed to the circulation line, wherein water and carbonated gas absorbed to the circulation line pass the orifice with comparably high pressure in comparison to the storage tank so as to dissolve carbon dioxide in water and reapply the dissolved carbon dioxide to the storage tank.
