The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for displaying coordinate values of a bounding box for an object. The method of the present invention comprises the following steps: receiving minimum and maximum values from coordinates values of a bounding box as a floating point; obtaining a difference value of the received maximum and minimum values; and converting the difference value into an exponent value and a mantissa value.
