Provided is a method which can measure, collect, and calculate the electrical power of a data center by using an IoT-based electricity meter and without complicated construction. In a method for diagnosing the power consumption of a data center according to an embodiment of the present invention, an IoT device captures an image of a first electricity meter displaying the amount of electricity consumed by servers, thereby recognizing a first amount of electricity appearing in a first electricity meter image, captures an image of a second electricity meter displaying the amount of electricity consumed by thermo-hygrostats, thereby recognizing a second amount of electricity appearing in a second electricity meter image, and calculates a PUE on the basis of the first amount of electricity and the second amount of electricity. Accordingly, a desired PUE can be calculated by means of a simpler method without complicated construction, and can be directly checked at a work site.
