... 본 발명은 친환경차량의 냉방 시스템 및 그 제어 방법에 관한 것으로서, 차량 냉방을 위해 전동식 압축기를 사용하는 친환경차량에서 차량 냉방시 불필요한 전력 소모를 최소화하여 차량 연비를 향상시킬 수 있는 냉방 시스템 및 그 제어 방법을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 상기한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 전동식 압축기를 사용하는 친환경차량의 냉방 시스템의 제어 방법에 있어서, a) 냉방 시스템의 작동시 제어기가 승객검출부의 신호로부터 승객석의 승객 탑승 여부를 확인하여 운전자만 탑승한 1인 탑승 모드와, 승객석에 승객이 추가 탑승한 추가 탑승 모드 중 어느 하나를 결정하는 단계와; b) 1인 탑승 모드인 경우 제어기가 전동식 압축기 및 공조블로워의 전력공급량을 미리 설정된 값으로 추가 탑승 모드에 비해 줄이는 동시에 냉기가 운전석으로만 공급되도록 모드조절도어의 위치를 제어하는 단계;를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 친환경 차량의 냉방 시스템 제어 방법이 개시된다.
