The present invention relates to a copper alloy member and a preparation method therefor. More specifically, a copper alloy comprises copper (Cu), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), and phosphorus (P), and thus has high electrical conductivity while increasing or maintaining tensile strength. In addition, by varying the composition ratio of the copper alloy comprising copper (Cu), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn) and phosphorus (P), the copper alloy has improved tensile strength and electrical conductivity compared with conventional copper alloys and has remarkable flame resistant characteristics.
