The present invention relates to a hybrid vehicle and a control method thereof and, more specifically, to a hybrid vehicle and a torque control method therefor, capable of enabling efficient oscillation when the oscillation of an electric motor is impossible. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a slip oscillation control method for a hybrid vehicle, including an engine clutch installed between an electric motor and an engine, comprises: a step of calculating fourth torque, which is slip oscillation torque, by deducting second torque of an engine assisting motor, operated in a power generation mode, and third torque, which is margin torque, from first torque which is the maximum torque generated from target rpm of the engine; and a step of delivering the fourth torque to the engine clutch.
