... 본 발명은 산화효소 (oxidase) 활성을 가지는 산화세륨 나노입자에 의한 발색반응 현상을 이용하여 핵산을 검출하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는, 핵산 증폭산물이 존재하는 경우, 핵산 분자는 산화세륨 나노입자에 흡착하고 응집시키며 발색반응 기질과 상호작용함으로써 산화세륨 나노입자의 촉매작용을 저해하며, 이로 인해 발색반응의 감소하게 되는 현상을 이용한 표적 핵산을 간편하게 검출하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 산화세륨 나노입자를 이용한 핵산을 검출하는 방법은 표적핵산을 1~2분 내에 육안으로 간단하게 확인할 수 있고, 본 핵산 검출방법을 이용한 산화세륨 나노입자 기반 발색 센서를 제공함으로써 현장진단 관련 장치 및 시스템을 개발할 수 있으며, 다양한 원인균 감염 진단, 유전자 재조합 생물체 (GMO; genetically modified organisms) 검사, 법의학 수사 등에 보편적으로 활용될 수 있어 유용하다. 또한, 본 발명에 따른 산화세륨 나노입자를 이용한 검출방법은 핵산의 검출뿐 아니라 다른 생체 물질 및 화학 물질의 검출에도 적용될 수 있다.
