... 본 발명은 여러 사람이 불편함 없이 VR(virtual Reality)의 구현을 위한 HMD를 사용할 수 있는 HMD장치 및 이를 구비한 게임기에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 공용 HMD장치는 다수의 사람이 공용으로 사용하기 위한 공용 HMD장치로서, 영상을 표시하는 디스플레이패널, 및 상기 디스플레이패널의 영상을 근접거리에서 관람하기 위한 적어도 이상의 렌즈를 포함하는 HMD유닛, 상기 HMD유닛에 설치되어 상기 HMD유닛이 이용자에 미리 설정된 거리만큼 이격되어 미접촉되도록 이용자와 HMD유닛의 사이 거리를 감지하는 거리감지센서, 및 상기 거리감지센서에서 감지된 정보를 기초로 상기 HMD유닛이 이용자에 미접촉되도록 상기 HMD유닛을 이용자의 시선 앞에 위치시키는 유닛이동기구를 포함한다. 따라서, HMD유닛이 이용자의 신체에 미접촉되어 비위생적인 문제를 해결함과 동시에 이벤트 효과를 향상시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 잦은 탈착으로 인한 손상을 방지할 수 있다.
