The present invention relates to a device and method for treating a volatile organic compound, wherein adsorption, cooling, and desorption of a volatile organic compound generated in a unit process is continuously performed to be made into energy, and combustor efficiency is simultaneously improved. The device of the present invention reproduces an adsorbent in a low temperature heating way so as to minimize loss thereof. According to the present invention, a combustion device and a treating device of a volatile organic compound are coupled in one system, so an atmospheric environment can be improved and energy efficiency can be maximized. According to the present invention, adsorption, cooling, desorption, and combustion processes can be continuously performed, so an adsorbent needs not to be stored and moved.
