The present invention relates to a propeller for a ship which comprises: a hub which is formed in a cylindrical shape having a hollow hole therein, is fixated and joined to a driving shaft of a ship power unit, and is integrally rotated with the driving shaft; and one or more blades which are formed along an outer circumferential side of the hub. The blade comprises a suction side, a pressure side, a leading edge, and a trailing edge. The propeller for a ship includes a protrusion unit which protrudes from the leading edge to be formed on the suction side and protrudes to have a grade which is formed between the leading edge and a protruding portion and larger than a grade formed between the leading edge and the suction side. According to the present invention, air bubbles, generated by the leading edge of the propeller shape, move along the protrusion unit and are separated from the propeller shape.
