PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved trocar capable of reducing the breakage of a seal during a surgical operation and low in a manufacture cost. SOLUTION: This trocar is provided for performing surgical treatment to a patient. The trocar is provided with a hollow cannula having a distal end and a proximal end, and a housing having a distal end fitted to the proximal end of the cannula and a provimal end having a wall. The wall has an opening part for insertion a surgical operation tool in the trocar. The trocar has a hollow tubular guide member, and the hollow tubular guide member has a proximal end fitted to the periphery of the opening part and the distal end extended from the proximal end. The trocar is provided with a first seal having a conical elastic member. The conical elastic member has a proximal end adjacent to the distal end of the guide member and a distal end extended from it, and the distal end of the member has a penetrating opening.
