A system for processing plastic wherein , in use , the system is adapted for the frictional heating of the plastic , the system comprising:a frictional heater adapted in use to bear against the plastic;wherein the frictional heater is substantially cylindrical and comprises a plurality of molten plastic conduits arranged radially and substantially perpendicular an axis of rotation of the frictional heater;the plurality of molten plastic conduits being adapted to allow molten plastic to enter substantially within the cylinder; andwherein the frictional heater is configured to allow molten plastic to flow from within the frictional heater under gravity.51. A system as claimed in claim 50 , wherein the frictional heater is adapted to rotate at sufficient speed to cause intimate mixing.52. A system as claimed in claim 50 , wherein the frictional heater is adapted to rotate at a speed conducive to melting the plastic to form a homogeneous mixture and permit the homogenous mixture to enter the cylinder through the plurality of molten plastic conduits.53. A system as claimed in claim 50 , wherein the frictional heater has an axis of rotation and wherein the frictional heater is adapted to bear against the plastic substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation.54.
