The present invention relates to a compact hoist having a high-efficient permanent magnet motor. The compact hoist having a high-efficient permanent magnet motor comprises: a hook which hooks a weight; a wire drum which allows a wire connected to the hook to be wound or unwound thereto/therefrom to vertically move the wire and is rotated around a center shaft used as a rotary shaft core; a hoist embedded motor which provides power for rotating the wire drum in forward and reverse directions and is embedded in the wire drum; and an embedded brake which is embedded in the wire drum and restricts the rotation of the wire drum when a stop signal is inputted.
