A method of link adaptation in a wireless local area network is provided. The method includes requesting, by a requester, modulation and coding scheme (MCS) feedback to a plurality of responders, by transmitting a MCS request (MRQ) indicator, and, receiving, by the requester, feedback frames from each of the plurality of responders, wherein each of the feedback frame comprises MCS feedback (MFB) information. 112-. (canceled)13. A method for link adaptation in a wireless local area network , the method comprising;broadcasting, by a requesting device, a control frame to a first responding device and a second responding device, the control frame including a control field and a null data packet (NDP) announcement frame;transmitting, by the requesting device, a NDP to the first responding device and the second responding device after transmitting the control frame; andreceiving, by the requesting device, a first feedback frame as a response to the NDP announcement frame and the NDP from the first responding device, wherein the NDP announcement frame includes a first identifier identifying the first responding device and a second identifier identifying the second responding device, wherein the control field includes a feedback request field requesting a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) feedback, andwherein the first feedback frame includes a feedback subfield and MCS feedback information, the feedback subfield indicating that the MCS feedback information is a response to the request of the MCS feedback.14. The method of claim 13 , further comprising:transmitting, by the requesting device, a feedback poll frame to the second responding device after receiving the first feedback frame; andreceiving, by the requesting device, a second feedback frame from the second responding device.15. The method of claim 14 , wherein the second identifier in the NDP announcement frame is subsequent to the first identifier in the NDP announcement frame.16. The method of claim 13 , wherein ...
