Experimental results show that cooling system reduced the average temperature of the panel by as much as 19° C. or 25%. In the soil pasteurizing apparatus disclosed herein, soil to be treated is placed within elongate canisters which are then inserted in an enclosure in the form of a shallow box having a transparent window constituting one of the broad faces thereof. The canisters are spaced from each other and from the walls of the enclosure. Reflective means are provided for directing, onto the canisters, solar radiation which impinges in regions of the enclosure not actually occupied by the canisters. Thermally-induced circulation around the canisters further facilitates overall heating. The elongate configuration of the canisters permits even the interior portion of a usable volume of soil to be heated to pasteurizing temperatures using only the solar energy available in a convenient time interval, e.g. 3 hours.

本发明公开了一种基于强化预热的锥形太阳能甲烷重整反应器,该反应器包括用于接收太阳能辐射的椭球形石英窗口;外侧物料进口腔体;内侧物料进口腔体,所述腔体包含多孔介质,以吸收太阳辐射提高进口物料温度;多孔介质反应腔体,所述腔体介于内外侧物料进口腔体之间,通过多孔介质吸收太阳辐射,通过锥形隔板与内外侧腔体流入的物料换热,强化预热;所述反应腔体包含涂覆催化剂的多孔介质,物料流入所述腔体后进行重整反应。该反应器引导物料通过内外两侧流入反应腔体,同时在内侧物料进口腔体填充多孔介质,强化预热过程和尾部热量回收,提高反应腔体温度,降低出口气体温度,实现甲烷的高效重整。

Invented is a solar smelter that also manufactures hot air or hot fluids. A curved parabolic-half-shell and curved-overhang focuses the sun's rays, sunlight, unto a crucible, which is buried into a thermal-mass, or the ground. Using a planar-reflector, or heliostat, the sunlight is reflected horizontally unto an interior reflective wall of the curved parabolic-half-shell and curved-overhang. Surrounding the crucible is a thermal-mass with embedded pipes, that manufacture hot and compress air, or heat a gas or fluid. On top of the thermal-mass is a clear transparent-and-insulating floor that captures any stray solar rays, sunlight, adding heat to the thermal-mass. At the foci of the parabolic-half-shell and curved-overhang is a crucible for melting rocks, sand, glass or metals, or processing chemicals.

With the present invention, the forced radiation path in the solar oven is broken up into 2 or more sections which can be easily reconstructed by hand. The respective time adjustments are stipulated by grids or similar devices. Thus first of all the focus of the reflector can be directed to the heating plate by two time grids and additionally the plate can be arranged accurately or pivoted out or in. The arrangement according to the invention is transport-friendly and assembly-friendly.

The invention relates to a small solar cooker with heat energy storage. This apparatus consists of an insulated wall (11), a transparent surface (1), a Fresnel lens (2), the focal distance of which is movable by means of an automatic mechanical system (3) (12) in order to follow the sun's elevation. During preheating, with the focal point (10) of the lens located on the small copper reservoir (4) containing a phase-change material (6), the latter recharges thermally by two methods: the concentration of radiation brought about by the lens (2) and/or by an ancillary resistor supplied with an alternating current (5), and the heat accumulated in the small reservoir (4) makes it possible to use the cooker when there is no sun or to reduce the cooking time. During the latter, the container (8) or (16) receives the heat by conduction via the heat stored in the small reservoir (4) and/or by radiation via the focal point (9) located on the cover of said container (8) or (16), following manual setting of the lens. The cooker assembly is connected to another automatic mechanical system (7) for following the path of the sun.

For camping trips and other activities it is useful to have a solar reflector for cooking or electricity generation. It can be made form a flat piece of material and folded into a three dimensional parabolic dish for concentrating solar radiation. The flat disk has a plurality of spirally cut segments, which can overlap when the segments are made to stand extending in a parabolic shape from their central circular base. The segments will overlap on their edges and can be fastened together near the circumference to form a parabolic dish for reflecting solar rays toward a central area used for cooking. The parabolic reflective dish can be disassembled and stored flat by removing the fasteners and urging the spiral side segments to lie flat. The number of spiral side segments and their size may vary. The parabolic reflector is easy to assemble and disassemble and easy to carry.
