The invention comprises triazine brightening agents of the formula wherein A represents a polycyclic aromatic group containing at least three condensed rings, R1 represents a chloro, substituted amino, alkoxy, substituted alkoxy, aryloxy, alkylthio or substituted alkylthio group, and R2 represents a substituted amino, alkoxy, substituted alkoxy, aryloxy, alkythio, or substituted alkythio group. The stable form of leuco-1 : 4-diaminoanthraquinone, obtainable by treatment of leucoquinizarin with ammonia, e.g. as described in Specification 15355/08, [Class 2], is monoacylated by reaction with an organic acid halide under conditions which preclude the oxidation of the leuco-1 : 4-diaminoanthraquinone or the leuco-1-amino-4-acylamino-anthraquinone to the keto form. Advantageously, the reaction is effected in an inert organic solvent, e.g. nitrobenzene, o-nitrochlorobenzene, o-nitrotoluene or o-dichlorobenzene, in presence of an acid-binding agent, e.g. sodium or potassium carbonate, disodium hydrogen phosphate or pyridine. The products may be oxidised to the keto form, e.g. by heating with nitrobenzene. В способе получения пищевого анто- циэнового красителя из выжимок плодов и ягод, заключающегося в экстрагировании сырья водным раствором кислоты, отделении экстракта, выделении балластных веществ из экстракта, концентрировании с последующей сушкой экстракта, в качестве водного раствора кислоты используют 0,2%-ный раствор лимонной кислоты в воде, очищенной катионитом, экстрагирование проводят при температуре 55-60°С, выделение балластных веществ осуществляют вымораживанием экстракта в жидком азоте, а перед сушкой в экстракт вводят алюминиевые квасцы и аскорбиновую кислоту в количестве 0,09-0,1% и 0,4-0.5% соответственно и смесь камеди с маннитом,взятой в соотношении 1:90 в количестве 80-90% к массе сухих веществ. 3 табл. Anthraquinone vat dyestuffs are made by condensing compounds of the formula: where X is hydroxyl or halogen with three equivalents of amino anthraquinone compounds which are capable of being vatted. The aminoanthraquinones may contain fused heterocyclic rings or may contain in an adjacent position to the amino group a substituent which reacts during the condensation or is reacted subsequently thereto to form an azole ring such as an amino, hydroxyl or mercapto group to give an imidazole, oxazole or thiazole ring respectively, or one which can be converted into such a substituent such as an acyloxy or acylamino group or a halogen atom and then reacted to form an azole ring. The dyestuffs dye and print wool, silk and fibres of natural and regenerated cellulose greenish-yellow, orange, red and violet shades and may be used for colouring lacquers and plastic masses.

Provided is a method for preparing a copper indium selenide (CIS) or copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) thin film, including: (1) mixing Cu, In and Ga precursors in a solvent and adding a polymer binder to obtain a paste or ink; (2) coating the obtained CIG precursor paste or ink on a conductive substrate by printing, spin coating or spraying and heat-treating the same under air or oxygen gas atmosphere to remove remaining organic substances and obtain a CIG mixed oxide thin film; (3) heat-treating the obtained CIG mixed oxide thin film under hydrogen or sulfurizing gas atmosphere to obtain a reduced or sulfurized CIG mixed thin film; and (4) heat-treating the obtained reduced or sulfurized CIG mixed thin film under selenium-containing gas atmosphere to obtain a CIGS thin film. Since residual carbon resulting from organic additives, which is the biggest problem in the existing paste coating techniques, can be reduced remarkably, and CIGS crystal size can be improved, the disclosed method can improve efficiency of CIGS solar cells.

The natural dyeing method includes dissolving a water-soluble pigment present in leaves of the indigo plant in water to mix the water containing the water-soluble pigment with lime powder and air, concentrating the resulting mixture into an insoluble pigment, mixing the concentrated indigo plant dye with caustic soda to reduce the resulting mixture into a water-soluble pigment through microbial fermentation, immersing a fiber in the soluble indigo plant dye solution to dye the fiber, and bringing the dyed fiber into contact with air to convert the soluble indigo plant dye solution into the insoluble pigment again, thereby completing natural dyeing using the indigo plant. Therefore, the natural dyeing can be performed at a very fast dyeing rate, and the fiber can show excellent color fastness. Also, the fiber cannot be easily discolored by water or detergent, and can be useful in preventing water pollution or dermatitis.

Provided is a method for producing a gardenia blue pigment resistant to discoloration which may occur in colored sugar-coated food or pharmaceutical products.
