A tape product dispenser and method of using a tape product dispenser comprises a reel member comprising an internal loading surface for loading a tape product and a housing. The housing comprises a lower portion, an upper portion configured to be opened to permit access to the reel member and a housing port to enable dispensing of a tape product from an interior of the housing or loading of a tape product from outside of the housing. A cutter assembly suitable for cutting BOPP adhesive tape and a tape dispenser incorporating the same. The cutter assembly has a row of plastic teeth where each tooth includes left and right front and rear faces, each face being disposed on a different plane, and where the planes intersect each other at the tip of the tooth. A front edge extends between the left and right front faces; a rear edge extends between the left and right rear faces; a left side edge extends between the right front and rear faces; and a right side edge extends between the left front face and the right rear face. A tape dispenser comprising:a first side member and an opposing second side member;an axle extending between the first and second side members defining a hub axis;a hub carrying wound adhesive tape therearound configured to be unwound and dispensed, and the hub positioned concentric around the axle to rotate about the hub axis;a first brake spoke extending from a first inner surface on the first side member and a free end wall on the first brake spoke, wherein when the first side member is flexed, and the end wall effectuates braking of the adhesive tape and the hub by contacting one of the following (i) the adhesive tape, (ii) the hub, and (iii) the adhesive tape and the hub simultaneously; andan imaginary radial line extending radially from the hub axis, wherein the imaginary radial line intersects the first brake spoke at two points.2. The tape dispenser of claim 1 , wherein the brake spoke has an arcuate profile.3. The tape dispenser of claim 1 , wherein the imaginary radial line intersects the brake spoke at first and second ends.4. The method of claim 1 ,wherein advancing the carrier includes assisting transport of the print medium through the print zone.4. The method of claim 2 ,wherein the carrier counters mechanical forces exerted on the print medium while being transported through the print zone to maintain a shape of the print medium engaged with the adhesive surface of the carrier.5. The method of claim 2 , further comprisingtransporting the carrier through the print zone by means of at least one roller applying a tensioning force to the carrier,wherein the carrier has a tensile strength to sustain the applied tensioning force with a relative deformation of 0.1 to 2%.6. The method of claim 1 ,wherein the carrier is provided as a continuous web of carrier material or as multiple parallel continuous webs.7. The method of claim 1 ,wherein the print medium is engaged with the carrier so as to have a surface contact with the carrier.8. The method of claim 1 ,wherein the adhesive surface comprises adhesive deposited on one surface of the carrier,wherein the adhesive is at least one of a pressure-sensitive adhesive and a temperature-sensitive adhesive.9.
