In a situation where a conventional inductive throttle sensor is used with a motor-driven throttle valve device to detect the rotation angle of a throttle shaft, plural sensor connection conductor sections for connecting a connector terminal to a circuit board terminal section are formed on the cover on one lateral surface side of a circuit board in the long-axis direction. This increases the dimension of the cover in the short-axis direction (the dimension in the direction of air flow in an intake path). This problem is addressed by using a separate member to achieve electrical conduction between a stator circuit board and a conductor routed inside the cover installed over the stator circuit board in a concentrated manner on one side of the circuit board. A catalytic converter theft protection arrangement , comprising:a metal cage configured to be rigidly attached to an underside of a vehicle such that the cage surrounds a catalytic converter of the vehicle; motion around the catalytic converter; and/or', 'vibration of the cage; and, 'an electronic tamper-detecting device disposed within the cage and configured to transmit an alarm signal in response to detectinga remote controller configured to selectively activate and deactivate the electronic tamper-detecting device in response to actuation of the remote controller by a user.2. The arrangement of claim 1 , wherein the tamper-detecting device is disposed in a corner of the cage.3. The arrangement of claim 1 , wherein the tamper-detecting device is attached to the cage at a location within the cage that maximizes a distance between the tamper-detecting device and the catalytic converter.4. Remote devices have replaced keys as a means to access a secure feature of a vehicle. Remote door locks, starters, climate control, trunk openers, etc., have allowed vehicles to be more welcoming and easier to use. However, such functions often rely on radio frequency transmissions that can merely relay signals coming from an authorized device that may allow a nefarious user to access the vehicle or contents therein. By encoding sequence numbers and timestamps within an exchange, a vehicle may determine that an authorized user is too far away to be granted access to the secure feature, thereby denying access to the nefarious user implementing a relay attack on the vehicle. 1. A vehicle , comprising:a radio frequency component to receive and transmit messages;a processor in communication with the radio frequency component; anda memory;a secure feature selectively enabled by the processor; andwherein the processor, via the radio frequency component, conducts an interaction with a remote device; andwherein the processor, upon determining that the interaction is authentic, enables the secure feature, wherein the interaction is determined to be authentic upon determining that the distance between the radio frequency component and the remote device is within a previously determined distance maintained in the memory, and wherein the distance is calculated as half of the difference between a round trip time and the residence time, the difference then being multiplied by the speed of radio waves through air.2. An attachment system for a removable vehicle component , comprising:a fixed fastener associated with a first element;a cooperating receiver associated with a second element; andan aperture or port configured for providing access to the fixed fastener.2. A vehicle authorization system with a transmitter/receiver capable of activating vehicle functions operably connected to the vehicle, a wireless transmitter/receiver for an authorized vehicle operator that receives communications from the vehicle transmitter/receiver, a sensor in the vehicle security transmitter/receiver that detects at least one vehicle access parameter via an electronic signal, wherein the vehicle transmitter/receiver communicates with the wireless transmitter/receiver responsive to the sensor detecting a second signal associated with the access parameter to affirm a verification signal from the wireless transmitter/receiver that upon verification permits vehicle access by the operator or upon improper or no response activates a vehicle function to prevent access or vehicle operation. The invention consists of a vehicle security device that can both monitor and control vehicle systems, and a user's smart device. The invention is combined with the existing vehicle keys and fobs to provide a two-step authentication.
