A method for locking a tyre to a wheel rim, includes the steps of mounting a tubular tyre locking element on the wheel rim, which tubular locking member is arranged with a valve, which valve is pushed through a hole in the rim; mounting a tyre on the rim such that the tyre encloses the tubular tyre locking element and a pressure chamber is obtained between the tyre locking element and the tyre; pressurizing the tubular tyre locking element via the valve such that it expands, whereby the beads of the tyre are pressed against the flanges of the wheel rim; inserting a hollow needle through the tyre and into the pressure chamber, which hollow needle is connected to a pressurized air source; pressurising the pressure chamber to desired pressure, removing the hollow needle; and sealing the hole caused by the needle with sealing fluid or plug.

As a tire rotates around an axle, the pull of gravity varies for a given point on the tire. While gravity is always pulling ‘down’, the force relative to a fixed point on the tire changes. Gravity-driven generators exploit these changes in gravitational force to do work. A gravity-driven generator is different from an automatic pump that operates using centrifugal force due to rotation of a tire. Automatic, gravity-driven generators can be used to generate and store energy to perform such tasks as inflating tires to offset the natural gas leakage of modern tires, and can maintain tire pressure and inflation within a desired or optimal range. The invention relates to a valve for a compartmentalized tube or tyre, including a number of ducts for passing and increased sealing. A distance between the pair of rail members in a wheel width direction becomes gradually narrower from the outer circumferential surface of the well portion toward outside in a wheel radial direction that is orthogonal to the wheel width direction. Further, the pair of rail members have inner surfaces located to face the outer circumferential surface in the wheel radial direction, and the sub air chamber member has a contour to conform with the inner surfaces of the pair of rail members. 1. An apparatus for noise reduction of a tire reduces noise within a particular frequency range generated in the tire during operation of a vehicle. 본 발명은 타이어의 펑크시 지지체와 트래드 내면사이에서 미끄러짐을 방지하여 보다 안정적인 조종안정성을 확보하고, 지지체와 트래드 내면사이에서 마찰에 의한 발열을 억제시켜 화재가 발생되는 것을 방지할 수 있는 자동차용 타이어의 런-플렛 장치에 관한 것이다. 종래의 런-플렛 장치는 지지체(3)가 트래드(20)내부면과 접촉되어 지지하는 상태로 주행을 하는 경우 트래드(20)의 내부면과 지지체(3)가 미끄러져 림(1)으로부터 전달되는 조종력이 타이어(2)에 바르게 전달되지 못하여 조종안정성이 극히 불량해지는 문제점이 있었던 바, 본 발명은 자동차의 바퀴축에 설치되는 림(1)과, 상기 림(1)에 장착되는 타이어(2)와, 상기 림(1)과 타이어(2)의 트래드(20) 내면사이에 설치되는 지지체(3)로 구성되는 것에 있어서, 상기 지지체(3)의 상면과 트래드(20)의 내면 사이에 미끄럼방지장치(4)를 설치시켜 구성됨으로써, 타이어의 펑크로 인하여 림에 설치된 지지체가 트래드의 저면부를 지지하면서 주행하는 과정에서 지지체의 상면과 접촉되는 트래드 내부면이 미끄럼방지장치에 의해 지지체의 상면에 견고하게 결합되어 림으로부터 전달되는 구동력과 제동력을 보다 확고하게 타이어에 전달시킬 수 있는 것임.
