Valve-through tire puncture sealant compositions including dissolved and undissolved natural bio-materials, anti-freezing agents and other rigid particles are invented. In the preparation, an aqueous solution with 0.1-10 wt % dissolved bio-materials and 0.1%-10 wt % tackifier is mixed with anti-freezing agent, in which 0.01-5 wt % rigid particles of bio-materials and other particles are suspended. Weight percentage of water and anti-freezing agent are 20-40 wt % and 20-70 wt % respectively. Trace amounts of additives such as colouring and preservative are possibly added to the sealant. The invention includes the method for preparing the sealant composition containing bio-materials. The proposed sealant compositions have several advantages: Environmentally friendly, insignificant settling, long shelf-life, etc. The sealant is capable of sealing puncture formed by less than or equal to 6.35 mm spike for long duration, i.e. more than 30 hours.

A method for repairing a component which contains fiber-reinforced plastics material. For curing a deformable material introduced into and/or applied to a repair point of the component, the material is heated by irradiation with light from a light-emitting device. The disclosure herein further relates to a light-emitting device for heating a material that is deformable at least in part, in a method according to the disclosure herein, and to a repair device which comprises a light-emitting device. 1. A method for repairing a component which contains fiber-reinforced plastics material , the method comprising:introducing and/or applying material that is deformable at least one in part into and/or to a repair point of the component; andheating the deformable material, wherein the heating comprises irradiating the deformable material with light from a light-emitting device.2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the light-emitting device comprises at least one inorganic light-emitting diode and/or at least one organic light-emitting diode and/or at least one radiator as a light source.3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the light-emitting device comprises at least one planar organic light-emitting diode and/or at least one mat claim 1 , film claim 1 , membrane claim 1 , double membrane and/or at least one braid made of fibers claim 1 , wires and/or cords claim 1 , which can have a plurality of light sources.4. A new system a comprising a balanced belt that forms a ring around a wheel rim and enables smart wheel functionalities as positioning, sensing, actuation and communication hub is presented. The belt can be implemented as a removable apparatus locked around the wheel rim or as an integrate apparatus embedded in the wheel rim by a proper wheel rim manufacturing modification. The belt contains a tank filled with a sealing foam, which, in the event of a punctured tire, can be expelled out of the tank and injected into the inner part of the tire to repair the hole. With respect to the state-of-the-art systems, the proposed self-repairing tire solution, allows to avoid the cumbersome manual tire repairing operations, to save driver stress and time and to enhance car safety. Moreover, the proposed apparatus, by preserving punctured tire damaging, is very cost-effective respect to competitor solutions and contributes to carbon dioxide emission reduction. A sealant composition which is comprised of (a) polyisobutylene , (b) a peroxide , and (c) a reinforcing filler , wherein the polyisobutylene is present in the sealant layer at a level of at least 50 weight percent , based upon the total weight of elastomers in the sealant composition.2. The present invention relates to soundproof self-sealing tyres for vehicles wheels and to processes for the manufacture thereof. In particular, the soundproof self-sealing tyres of the invention comprise closed-cell foamed polyolefin materials, preferably with closed macrocells, optionally perforated. These noise-reducing materials surprisingly allow maintaining the sealing performance of traditional self-sealing systems, which are instead compromised in the case of conventional noise-reducing materials based on open-cell foamed polyurethanes. 2.
