Methods and devices for LTE cell search with large frequency offset are disclosed. In one embodiment of the invention, a UE divides the received signals into multiple frequency bins and transforms the signals into frequency domain through FFT. The UE performs correlating measures between the received signals and reference signals. The UE then performs an adaptive multi-try based peak selection such that the number of candidate is reduced. In one embodiment of the invention, the multi-try number is adaptively adjusted based on the channel condition. In one embodiment of the invention, the threshold of the peak selection is adaptively adjusted. In other embodiments of the invention, the UE performs non-coherent accumulation and selects a predefined number of coarse bin candidates. The number of non-coherent accumulation is adaptively adjusted. In another embodiment of the invention, the UE performs fractional frequency offset estimation and selects a fine bin candidate. 1. A method , comprising:receiving a signal from a radio channel and computing frequency domain symbols of the received signal and a reference signal through a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT);dividing the received signal and the reference signal into a plurality of frequency bins, wherein the received signal in each frequency bin with a Primary Synchronization Code (PSC) is a first-group candidate;performing correlating measures between the received signal and the reference signals and de-mapping from the frequency domains through an Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT); andperforming an adaptive multi-try based peak selection to select a plurality of second-group candidates, wherein a multi-try number is adaptively adjusted and a threshold for each candidate is adaptively adjusted.2. A baseband processing module of a Radio Frequency receiver produces time domain equalizer coefficients and calculates a power threshold based upon a total power of a plurality of taps of the time domain equalizer coefficients. The baseband processing module then performs a plurality of iterations, during each of which it identifies at least one minimum power tap and determines a total power figure based upon zeroing the at least one minimum power tap. When the total power figure compares favorably to the power threshold, the baseband processing module modifies the plurality of taps by zeroing the at least one minimum power tap and continuing iterating. When the total power figure compares unfavorably to the power threshold, the baseband processing module ceases iterating without modifying the plurality of taps by zeroing the at least one minimum power tap and then produces modified time domain equalizer coefficients.

A baseband processing module of a Radio Frequency receiver produces time domain equalizer coefficients and calculates a power threshold based upon a total power of a plurality of taps of the time domain equalizer coefficients. The baseband processing module then performs a plurality of iterations, during each of which it identifies at least one minimum power tap and determines a total power figure based upon zeroing the at least one minimum power tap. When the total power figure compares favorably to the power threshold, the baseband processing module modifies the plurality of taps by zeroing the at least one minimum power tap and continuing iterating. When the total power figure compares unfavorably to the power threshold, the baseband processing module ceases iterating without modifying the plurality of taps by zeroing the at least one minimum power tap and then produces modified time domain equalizer coefficients.

The high noise variance gain can then be used for a Viterbi decoder to reduce the bit error number in burst error position, and also to reduce the contribution of the channel estimation by impulse noise in future channel estimations. HEK293.CS is a safe adenovirus-producing cell line constructed by knocking out a gene fragment homologous to the Ad5 adenovirus E1 gene in HEK293 and providing a template plasmid to replace said gene fragment with a non-homologous sequence that stabilizes the expression of the E1 gene. Compared with the unmodified HEK293 cell strain, HEK293.CS shows no decrease in growth ability and virus production ability, but does not produce a detectable RCA. HEK293.CS can be used for the mass culture of a recombinant human type 5 adenovirus, and reducing the probability of RCA production in the manufacture process of drugs such as vaccines and antibodies.
