When the lower end of the pivoting panel engages an obstruction or other item that provides a force tending to move the lower end of the panel forwardly relative to the frame, an actuator arm will move to cause control levers that are in a rearward drive position to be moved to the stopped position.

A pretensioned spring track tensioning system provides a two stage loading of a tension roller on the interior of a vehicle drive track. The two stage loading first loads the track under a lower tension load for normal operation, but when the track is highly loaded, such as when digging, or when debris is forced between the track member and its drive sprocket or guide rollers, the compression of the lighter spring will be stopped mechanically and a second heavier compression spring will provide the tension loading. The additional spring tension under unusual conditions prevents detracking of the track and buckling of the track. A lighter tension load during normal operations reduces the loads on bearings, particularly in relation to a drive motor. The tensioning system has particular adaptability to “high” drive type tracks which have a drive sprocket elevated above the tension roller.

A system for fabricating an object includes an extruder for one or more deposition materials having at least one nozzle and a movable support for the nozzle. The nozzle has a nozzle axis and is rotatably attached to the movable support via a connector that is actuatable relative to the movable support to change an angular orientation of the nozzle axis, thus varying an angle between the nozzle axis and a deposition surface. The system also includes a controller that can apply a correction factor calculated for a path of the nozzle when an acute angle is formed between the nozzle axis and the deposition surface, the correction factor for moving toward the acute angle being different from that when moving away from it. The correction factor removes differences in thickness of the deposited material caused by variations in the angle formed between the nozzle axis and the deposition surface. 1. Suction is applied to the suckers 27 through the arms 14 which are supported by a plate 29 over a fixed suction chamber 28. An inner wall 31 of the chamber 28 acts to cut-off the suction at a predetermined point. At their upper ends, the arms 14 have extensions 32 provided with rollers 33 engaging a cam groove 34 in a cam plate 36 freely mounted on the shaft 18 and arranged to be oscillated by a link 37 eccentrically-mounted on the shaft 26. When the shaft 18 is rotated, the leading approaching arm 14 is rocked inwardly by the cam 36 to clear the end carton 12, and then rocked outwardly to engage the carton. The shaft 18 now stops, the arm 14 is moved inwardly to withdraw the leading edge of the carton away from the stack, the shaft 18 is then rotated whereby the arm 14 moves substantially transversely of the stack to withdraw the carton from the stack against the action of the fixed stop 41, and carries it to a position where, on further outward movement of the arm 14, the leading edge passes into a recess 42 on a projection 43 from a guide rail 44.
