Le procédé fait passer les micro-éléments polymères dans le jet de gaz adjacent à un bloc Coanda, le bloc Coanda ayant une paroi incurvée pour séparer les microéléments polymères avec effet Coanda, inertie, et résistance à l'écoulement de gaz. Il sépare ensuite divers constituants de type oxyde de métal alcalino-terreux à partir de la paroi incurvée du bloc Coanda pour nettoyer les micro-éléments polymères.

The present invention concerns an injection device with a housing adapted to receive a syringe having a discharge nozzle, the housing having an indicator opening. There is a trigger and a forward drive arranged to act upon the syringe on actuation of the trigger to advance the syringe from a retracted position to an extended position thereby discharging the contents of the syringe through the discharge nozzle. A support member is in contacting juxtaposition with the housing and a return drive is supported by the support member and arranged to act upon the syringe after the contents of the syringe has been discharged so that the syringe can be withdrawn from the extended position to the retracted position. Advantageously, the support member is arranged in the housing so that the second drive does not obscure an inspection of the contents of the syringe through the indicator opening. Hence, it can be clearly determined whether the contents of the syringe have been expelled from the syringe.

The first drive element ( 232 ) is capable of movement relative to the second ( 234 ) once a nominal decoupling position has been reached. A release mechanism is activated when the first drive element ( 234 ) is further advanced to a nominal release position, to release the syringe ( 214 ) from the action of the drive spring ( 230 ), whereupon the return spring ( 226 ) restores the syringe ( 214 ) to its retracted position. Decoupling of the drive elements is achieved with a particular form of releasable drive coupling using two pairs of overlying flexible arms ( 235, 247 ). A particular form of release mechanism that also uses flexible arms ( 233 ) is also envisaged.

The surgical laser system further comprises a first diffraction optical element (DOE) tuned to the first wavelength and a second DOE tuned to the second wavelength, wherein the first DOE is configured to diffract the first laser beam into one or more first diffracted beams at a diffraction angle and the second DOE is configured to diffract the second laser beam into one or more second diffracted beams at the same diffraction angle. The surgical laser system further comprises one or more beam splitters configured to reflect the one or more first diffracted beams and the one or more second diffracted beams onto a lens.

An injection device that retracts automatically is provided. A housing includes means for biasing the syringe from an extended position to a retracted position. The device includes an actuator and a drive, one comprising a flexible arm that engages with a drive surface on the other, allowing the actuator to prevent the former from moving relative to the latter. The arm is prevented from disengaging until the drive has been advanced to a nominal release position, whereupon the arm disengages, allowing the actuator to move relative to the drive and thus releasing the syringe from the action of the actuator, whereupon the biasing means restores the syringe to its retracted position. The arm is biased toward a position at which it engages the drive surface and the action of the actuator causes it to move against its bias, thus disengaging it from the drive surface.

The first drive element is capable of movement relative to the second once a nominal coupling position has been reached. A release mechanism is activated when the first drive element (234) is further advanced to a nominal release position, to release the syringe (214) from the action of the drive spring, whereupon the return spring restores the syringe to its retracted position.

The invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle axle brake assembly (1). The vehicle axle brake assembly (1) comprises a right and left pneumatic brake branch (2, 6) associated with different wheel ends of the vehicle axle and used for controlling the brake pressures biasing the wheel brake actuators. The pneumatic brake branches (2, 6) comprise pivoting anchor valves (3, 7) allowing a fast aeration and de-aeration of the brake actuators. The invention proposes to connect the pneumatic brake branches (2, 6) by a connecting line (32) with an integrated valve device (33). The valve device (33) comprises an open position and a closed position. In the open position the brake pressures at the brake actuators are the same and can be alternatively controlled by the pivoting anchor valves (3, 7) so that also for a failure of one pivoting anchor valve (3, 7) the brake pressure can be provided. Instead, in the closed position of the valve device (33) a separate control in the brake lines (5, 9) is possible which e.g. allows the generation of a yaw moment and/or the consideration of different coefficients of friction at the two wheel ends. The inventive vehicle axle brake assembly (1) can be used for a commercial vehicle, in particular a tractor or a trailer.

Heat exchanger and method of assembly thereof

A method of affixing a plurality of tubes having oval ends into a plurality of corresponding oval openings in the header wall of a heat exchanger in which the wall has an inner, liquid-facing side and an outer, air-facing side. The oval ends of the tubes are sized such that the minor diameter of the tube ends is greater than the minor diameter of the header openings and the major diameter of the tube ends is less than the major diameter of the header openings, the circumference of the tube ends and the header openings being substantially equal. The tube ends are inserted into corresponding openings in the header wall whereupon the minor diameter of the tube ends is reduced and the major diameter of the tube ends is increased to create a substantially fully contacting fit around the circumference with said header openings. Ends of the tubes are welded to corresponding collar openings in the header wall, such that the tubes extend toward the air-facing side of the wall, to form a plurality of welded tube-to-header joints. Flux is applied by spraying or the like to the air-facing side of the tube-to-header joints. Thereafter, a lead/tin or other molten solder is applied to the liquid-facing side of the tube-to-header joint by dipping or wave solder techniques and flowed into any voids in the welded joints to substantially seal the joints against leakage of liquid. Only those joints having potential liquid leaking voids receive the solder - sound, liquid-tight welded joints axe not solder sealed.
