The present invention relates to an aluminum porous body and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of the aluminum porous body comprises the following steps of: forming aluminum mixed powder by mixing pure aluminum powder having a predetermined particle size and aluminum alloy powder, as a binder, having a particle size smaller than that of the pure aluminum powder at a predetermined ratio; filling the aluminum mixed powder in a mold having a plurality of micropores perforated therein, inserting the aluminum mixed powder into a vacuum furnace, and decompressing the same at a predetermined pressure to remove oxygen therein; heating the internal temperature of the vacuum furnace decompressed and maintained at the predetermined pressure, additionally decompressing the vacuum furnace to a pressure lower than the initial pressure to remove water vapor generated from the aluminum mixed powder when the internal temperature of the vacuum furnace reaches 400-500°C, and degassing ...
