... 본 발명은 폐플라스틱 열분해유의 비점범위 180~340℃의 middle distillate 유분을 윤활기유로 전환하는 기술이다. 폐플라스틱 열분해유 내에는 Cl, S, N, metal 등의 불순물이 다수 존재하고, 선형 파라핀이 주요 성분이어서, 수첨 이성화 반응을 통한 윤활기유 전환 과정에서 윤활기유 저온 물성을 맞추기 위해서 다량의 수율 감소가 문제가 되었고, 낮은 수율에도 저온 물성이 개선되지 못하는 문제가 있었다. 본 발명은 해당 유분의 불순물을 제거하는 과정에서 Heavy 유분 내 다수 존재하는 불포화 이중결합의 구조 이성화 반응을 통해 분자 내 가지를 만들어 저온 특성을 개선하고, 그 뒤에 수첨 이성화 반응을 통해 분자의 끝에 가지를 추가로 생성시킴으로써 저온 특성이 매우 우수하면서도 윤활기유 물성이 좋은 고품질 윤활기유를 제조할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 발명을 통해 제조된 윤활기유는 동점도(@100℃)가 4cSt 수준인 것을 특징으로 한다. 또한 제조된 윤활기유는 CCS, 유동점 등이 석유계 Gr III 윤활기유보다 고품질이며, Gr III plus 윤활기유보다 물성이 동등 이상이다. 특히 폐플라스틱 열분해유 유래 윤활기유 또는 GTL wax 유래 윤활기유 등 선형 파라핀/올레핀 유분 유래 윤활기유의 유동점이 -20℃ 이상인데 반하여, 본 발명을 통해 제조한 윤활기유는 유동점이 -20℃ 이하인 특징이 있다. 폐기되거나 태워서 온실가스나 SOx, NOx, Cl 함유 가스 등의 위험 가스로 전환될 수 있는 폐플라스틱 열분해유를, 산업적으로 널리 사용되는 윤활기유로 전환함으로써 환경 측면에서도 바람직하다.
