Provided is a facial patch which comprises a support, an adhesive layer and a release layer in that order, characterized in that (a) the adhesive layer (a-1) comprises a styrene-isoprene-styrene-block copolymer, a tackifying resin and a softner, (a-2) has a ratio (mass ratio) of the styrene-isoprene-styrene-block copolymer to the tackifying resin of 1:2 to 1:4, and (a-3) contains the softner in an amount of 40 to 60 mass%, and (b) the support has an elastic modulus (Young's modulus) of 0.01 to 0.5 GPa. Also provided is a method for manufacturing the facial patch which includes a step of forming an adhesive layer on the top face of the release layer.

Disclosed is an adhesive patch which has a layer configuration wherein an adhesive layer is provided on one surface of a supporting body. The supporting body is formed of a polyurethane film that has a thickness within the range of 1-10 μm. The adhesive layer is formed of an addition-curable silicone adhesive layer that has a thickness within the range of 5-50 μm and is composed of a polyorganosiloxane that does not have a vinyl group in a side chain. The water vapor permeability of the adhesive patch is more than 1,500 g/m2·24 hr.

A long-acting adhesive skin patch for treating Alzheimer's disease, comprising a support, an acrylic adhesive agent layer having a thickness of 150 μm or more, and a liner, wherein the acrylic adhesive agent layer contains 3-14 mass% of rivastigmine, the skin permeation rate of rivastigmine is 0.5-25 μg/cm2·hr on each day in an in vitro skin permeation test (for 7 days) using the skin of a hairless mouse, and preferably the ratio of the rivastigmine skin permeation rate 7 days after the initiation of the test to that 1 day after the initiation of the test (i.e., J7/J1) is 0.33 or more; and a method for producing the adhesive skin patch, comprising coating a rivastigmine solution onto a liner or a support and adhering the resultant product onto an acrylic adhesive agent layer.
