The ribs may extend outward from the bridge towards opposing ends of the fastener, and the ends may be at a different height than the bridge when viewing the fastener from the side. Alternatively, the ends may be at the same height as the bridge and also may be generally centered on the height of the fastener.

The hidden pin joining system allows panels of the cabinet to quickly and securely join together, with significant load bearing ability. Fluid tight pins and locks seal the crack while one or more locks prevent the crack from growing. These repairs need to endure the remaining life cycle of the machinery part while withstanding all the strain, pressure, heat and expansion and contraction of the part before the crack(s) were formed. On the lateral edge (I) of the first building board between the top side and the groove a projection springing out outwards is provided. Die Lippe weist eine in einen Boden (35) des Verriegelungsarms (14) auslaufende Innenfläche auf. In die erste Nut (9) ist ein flexibler, separater Verbinder (2.1) wenigstens teilweise eingelassen, der einen etwa dachrinnenförmigen Querschnitt aufweist und eine wenigstens teilweise bogenförmige, aus einem Basisteil und einem Schenkel bestehende Wandung (3) besitzt, die mit einer wenigstens teilweise teilzylindrischen oder teilelliptischen Innenfläche an einer Kante dieser Innenfläche - im Querschnitt des Verbinders gesehen - in ein Kopfstück (5.1) und andererseits in einen Fuß (12.1) übergeht. Der das Kopfstück (5.1) tragende Schenkel ist im eingesetzten Zustand des Verbinders beweglich angeordnet.
