The invention relates to a method for producing a building as a timber-frame construction, frame construction, or post-and-beam construction, having a supporting framework consisting of pillars and/or struts, comprising the following steps: a) in the regions of subsequent pillars and/or struts of the timber-frame construction, frame construction, or post-and-beam construction plate-shaped wall building elements are provided with screws in such a way that the tips thereof protrude into the subsequent pillars and/or struts; b) behind the plate-shaped wall building elements shutterings for the supporting framework consisting of pillars and/or struts are produced from strips and/or insulating material; c) the shuttered regions for the framework are filled with a load-bearing, curable compound, in particular with concrete, wherein the hardening compound flows around the screws used in step a); d) after step a), at the latest after the curing of the compound, the plate-shaped wall elements are set up, fixed, and aligned; e) installation elements for electrical power, water, heating, etc. are mounted on the outer face of the plate-shaped wall building elements; f) plate-shaped wall building elements are fixed to the outer faces of the pillars and/or struts of the supporting timber-frame construction, frame construction, or post-and-beam structure; g) the remaining spaces between the plate-shaped wall building elements, the elements of the supporting framework, and/or the installation elements for electrical power, water, heating, etc. are filled with a bulk material or an insulating material. 1. A portable counter partition system serves to segregate multiple patrons across the length of a counter with multiple dividers that detachably mount to a counter in a spaced-apart relationship. The dividers work to restrict passage of germs and viruses between patrons, and at least partially restrict passage of light therethrough. A prefabricated concrete form with vertical spacers between fill forming cladding with cut-outs in the spacers having horizontal rebar received therethrough and received therein. Stand-offs are provided between the vertical spacers with vertical rebar received on the stand-offs. In one version, the stand-offs are attached to the horizontal rebar. In other versions, the stand-offs are attached to the spacers. A cut-out is formed in one of the claddings to form an auxiliary fill space on the outside of the cladding, which when filled with concrete, upon hardening, forms a ledge for supporting a stair structure.

The present invention provides in one aspect for a bracket for use with insulated forms for concrete walls. The bracket has an attachment plate for overlying the exterior of the insulated form to provide for a means of attaching the header or rim joist to the bracket. The bracket is provided an anchoring plate extending from the attaching plate for insertion into the interior of the insulated form. The present invention also provides for a method of attaching a header or rim joist to a concrete wall formed using insulated forms. The method involves cutting a vertical slot in the insulated form and inserting a bracket into the slot. The bracket has an attachment plate for overlying the exterior surface of the insulated form and an anchoring plate extending from the attachment plate through the slot into the interior of the insulated form. In a method of supplying an element for covering a non-vision area in a curtain wall on an architectural structure, a plurality of shadow boxes is prefabricated at a location remote from both a unitized curtain wall assembly shop and the architectural structure. The shadow boxes are prefabricated by sealing an interior spacer between a vision glass panel and a back structure. The back structure includes an insulating material surrounded by a rigid envelope.
