An apparatus for storing, transporting and dispensing conveyor belts is described. The apparatus, in the form of a crate, has top and bottom conventional pallets, allowing for easy handling and strength for additional stacked crates. The center of the crate holds a hub assembly that moves rotationally, and allows smooth transition from consecutive layers of the conveyor belt wrapped thereon. During shipment, the roll of conveyor belt lies on its side. In one embodiment, a center pipe axle of the spool passes through holes in the top and bottom pallets. Alternatively, the center pipe axle passes through channels created between planks of the top and bottom pallets. These configurations secure the roll in the crate, and allow it to turn freely when loaded or unloaded.

A rectangular pallet that is symmetrical about its two major axes. The pallet comprises a first plastics shell and a second plastics shell. A reinforced plastic pallet comprises a twin sheet deck structure and three twin sheet runner structures which are fused to the underside of the deck to create three parallel spaced-apart footprints, the spacing between them forming one set of forklift openings. The deck is fabricated from two thermoformed plastic sheets which are peripherally joined together. The lower sheet is formed with upwardly extending spacer knobs which are fused to the under surface of the top sheet to further join the two sheets together. A frame of reinforcing beams is encapsulated into the interior space of the upper deck. The runner structures are also of twin sheet construction and some of them contain reinforcing rods. The runner structures, although they have flat footprints, are generally “W” shaped to provide two additional forklift openings at 90° from the primary forklift openings between the runner structures.

Within each pallet post is a steel tube reinforcement that is overmolded directly into the bottom skid, or is assembled after the pallet post is molded. The supports, which are typically hollow posts, are molded onto either the top deck or bottom skid, and a thermoplastic weld or adhesive joint is applied to the posts to complete the assembly. The palled having the integrated posts and reinforcements provides an economical approach of reinforcing pallet posts to absorb tow fork impact.

Methods for protecting a ground surface from exposure to material that may be spilled from or leak from one or more containers, which includes setting up a portable spill containment system that includes at least one grate for supporting the one or more containers. The grate includes a plurality of drain holes. The portable spill containment system includes a flexible bag configured to contain spills or leakage from the one or more containers that pass through the drain holes of the grate. An assembly of stacked mattresses and a method for preparing such an assembly are provided. The assembly of stacked mattresses comprises a first pallet, a second pallet, a plurality of mattresses positioned between the first pallet and the second pallet and straps coupling the first pallet to the second pallet, the plurality of mattresses being in a compressed state between the first pallet and the second pallet and the straps restraining expansion of the plurality of mattresses. The second pallet is comprised of a supporting member and a plurality of elongated reinforcing members extending across the supporting member, at least some of the reinforcing members including respective strap guiding members extending longitudinally along the elongated reinforcing member. At least some of the straps engage respective ones of the strap guiding members of the plurality of elongated reinforcing member of the second pallet so that displacement of the straps is constrained by the strap guiding members. In accordance with another aspect, a pallet for using in shipping bedding products is provided.

Methods and systems are provided for securing cargo on a pallet using a series of interconnected inflatable members. The system is secured to the pallet using securement straps connected to a fastener. The system prevents cargo from damage or loss as a result of falls from the pallet or collisions with other objects in the environment. Walls of the system can be gradually raised or lowered as cargo is added or removed to provide access to the highest cargo in a stack while protecting the cargo in a lower part of the stack. A cargo rack includes a frame having a front, a rear, and upper and lower end portions. The lower end portion of the frame has a base with a floor providing a load holding position. A tank, vessel or tank module that is supported with the frame during use, the lower end portion of the tank, vessel or tank module resting upon the load holding position of the base. The frame includes a plurality of side walls or side panels or side trusses that attach to and extend upwardly from the base frame. Each side wall, side panel or side truss has a pair of corner columns. The frame can include at least one horizontally extending beam connecting between each pair of corner columns. Each side wall, side panel or side truss can include the pair of columns, a central plate, and a plurality of diagonal members, each diagonal member connected to a corner column and a central plate. The diagonal members include an upper pair that can form an obtuse angle and a lower pair that can form an acute angle. Specially configured fittings are fitted to each corner of the tank, each fitting held in position with a pair of tensioning members that can be in the form of bolted connections that interface each fitting with two of the side walls, panels or trusses.

This application discloses a container. The container comprises a base, two pairs of opposite side plates and a lid. The two pairs of opposite side plates are both connected to the base. The lid can be locked to the top of the side plate via a locking device. Each of the four top corners of the container is provided with one locking device. The four locking device are arranged opposite to each other tin pairs along the corresponding diagonal of the lid, and each of the locking device includes one locking tongue member provided on the lid and one locking groove provided on the corresponding side plate. The locking tongue member has a locking tongue and is arranged to be movable relative to the lid so that the locking tongue is insertable into the locking groove to lock the lid to the side plate and is detachable from the locking groove to unlock the lid. Each of the locking grooves extends outwardly from the side plate along the corresponding diagonal direction of the lid. The shipping container is configured for shipping lithium ion batteries with a cargo cavity proximate and interior to a second inner flame-retardant corrugated layer. A method for forming a shipping support for a washing machine appliance includes attaching an elongated post to a corrugated sheet. The elongated post is oriented perpendicular to flutes of the corrugated sheet when the elongated post is attached to the corrugated sheet. The method of claim 1 , wherein the corrugated sheet has a width along a lateral direction claim 1 , the elongated post has a length along a transverse direction that is perpendicular to the lateral direction claim 1 , and the width of the corrugated sheet is about equal to the length of the elongated post.3.
