A looped circulation channel for returning the chemical liquid supplied from the pump chamber to the pump chamber is connected to the pump, and provided with an expanding and contracting portion. A filter for filtering the chemical liquid which is returned to the pump chamber is provided to the circulation channel. Since flow resistance of the filter is not applied to the pump when the chemical liquid is discharged from a discharge nozzle, it's possible to discharge a specific amount of chemical liquid from the discharge nozzle with a high degree of accuracy.

A dispenser system employs a packaging module for use with moisture sensitive materials. The packaging module comprises an outer carton and an inner bladder, which is substantially impermeable to moisture and is filled with one part of an adhesive. A method is provided for coating a surface of a material with a film of porous coordination polymer. A first substrate having a first surface to be coated is positioned in a processing chamber such that the first surface is placed in an opposing relationship to a second surface. The second surface may be provided by a wall of the processing chamber, or in some cases the second surface may be provided by a second substrate to be coated. The first substrate is held such that a gap exists between the first and second surfaces, and the gap is filled with at least one reaction mixture comprising reagents sufficient to form the crystalline film on at least the first surface. A thin gap (e.g., less than 2 mm) between the first and second surfaces is effective for producing a high quality film having a thickness less than 100 μm. Confining the volume of the reaction mixture to a thin layer adjacent the substrate surface significantly reduces problems with sedimentation and concentration control. The size, shape, or average thickness of the gap may be adjusted during formation of the film in response to feedback from at least one film growth monitor. 1. Methods and systems for detecting alignment of a substrate during a printing process are described. In an embodiment, a printing apparatus may comprise an apparatus polarization area. A substrate may be configured with a substrate polarization area. The substrate may be arranged on the printing apparatus during printing such that the substrate polarization area overlaps the apparatus polarization area to form an alignment area. During printing, light may be radiated onto the alignment area to generate polarized light. The polarized light may be received by a polarized light receiving device. Characteristics of the light received by the polarized light receiving device may be monitored for variations. The variations may indicate that the substrate is not properly aligned for printing on the printing apparatus. 1. A method to detect substrate alignment during a printing process , the method comprising:providing a printing apparatus comprising at least one apparatus polarization area;providing at least one substrate comprising at least one substrate polarization area;aligning the at least one substrate on the printing apparatus such that the at least one apparatus polarization area and the at least one substrate polarization area overlap to form at least one alignment area;generating polarized light by directing light at the at least one alignment area;printing at least one pattern on the at least one substrate using the printing apparatus; andmonitoring at least one characteristic associated with the polarized light during the printing of the at least one pattern, wherein a variation in the at least one characteristic is indicative of a misalignment between the substrate and the printing apparatus.2. A high speed granule delivery system and method is disclosed for dispensing granules in intermittent patterns onto a moving asphalt coated strip in the manufacture of roofing shingles. The system includes a granule hopper and a rotationally indexable pocket wheel in the bottom of the hopper. A series of pockets are formed in the circumference of the wheel and the pockets are separated by raised lands. A seal on the bottom of the hopper seals against the raised lands as the wheel is indexed. In use, the pockets of the pocket wheel drive through and are filled with granules in the bottom of the hopper. As each pocket is indexed beyond the seal, it is exposed to the moving asphalt coated strip below and its granules fall onto the strip to be embedded in the hot tacky asphalt. The speed at which the wheel is indexed is coordinated with the speed of the asphalt coated strip so that granules and strip are moving at about the same forward speed or at a preselected ratio of speeds when the granules fall onto the strip. Well defined patterns of granules are possible at high production rates. 1. The method initially determines, based upon an image of a first electronic substrate, that a first or a second dispense region is misaligned relative to the other of the first or the second dispense region. Fluid is simultaneously dispensed from a second applicator while moving the second applicator using the primary positioner and a secondary positioner. An apparatus for treating a substrate includes a process chamber having a treatment space defined therein, a support unit for supporting the substrate in the treatment space, a fluid supply unit for supplying supercritical fluid to the treatment space, and a controller configured to control the fluid supply unit, wherein the fluid supply unit is configured to selectively supply the supercritical fluid at a first density or a second density higher than the first density into the treatment space. An adhesive dispensing system for applying liquid adhesive to a substrate using different nozzles with the same manifold is disclosed. The adhesive dispensing system includes a manifold having a body, a first clamp configured to engage the body of the manifold, a second clamp configured to engage the body of the manifold, and a nozzle. The first and second clamps secure the nozzle to the body of the manifold. The body of the manifold has a first contact surface that engages the first clamp and a second contact surface that engages the second clamp and the nozzle, where the second contact surface is angularly offset from the first contact surface. 1. A manifold for a liquid adhesive dispensing system , the manifold comprising:a body having a first contact surface that engages a first clamp and a second contact surface that engages a second clamp and a nozzle, wherein said first and second clamps secure said nozzle to said body of said manifold, and said second contact surface is angularly offset from said first contact surface.2.
