An electronic device according to various embodiments disclosed in the present document may comprise a flexible display, multiple sensors, and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: identify information on a connection to an external electronic device; identify information on a shape of the electronic device by using at least one shape detection sensor among the multiple sensors; and execute at least one function on the basis of the information on the connection to the external electronic device and the information on the shape of the electronic device.
