[1]

The invention concerns a pile support for folding tables with a storage for one drehfest at a Klappfuß the folding table trained axle, which stands by means of a gear with a cam in drive connection, which first position and one which is away between one about right-angled from the desk top are about parallel to the desk top extending second position tiltable around a drag axis.

[2]

Such pile supports become usually at the four corners of the desk top of a folding table with tiltable Klappfüß EN attached. In order to make a space-saving keeping and/or the transport from folding tables possible to, the Klappfü&szlig leaves itself; e from one essentially right-angled condition position into one, which is away from the desk top, essentially parallel to the desk top aligned camp position swivel.

[3]

If these folding tables in their camp position are stacked one on the other, a damage that is the user turned surface of the desk top by the folded Klappfüß e over it and/or among them lying folding table to be avoided. For this become when swinging the Klappfüß e into their itself parallel to the desk top extending camp position the cams of the well-known pile supports into their perpendicularly of the desk top away-rising up position swung out, whereby the Größ e of the cams is in such a manner limited that the desk top one comes to lie over it or under it lying table on the swung out cams, without this desk top with the swung Klappfüß EN in contact comes. During swinging the Klappfü&szlig out; e are swivelled the cams against it into their parallel to the desk top aligned position, so that they do not impair the knee free space underneath the desk top.

[4]

From the DE 40 00 321 C2 a pile support is well-known, which exhibits a housing, in which rigidly at a Klappfuß the table of trained axle ends, which carries a first gear wheel, as well as a wave stored are au&szlig, the one second gear wheel combing with the first gear wheel as well as; erhalb the housing carries a cam. In conference or congress centers, as bspw. Hotels or fairs, must be reproached frequently a great many tables, be stacked those, as long as they are not in use, one above the other. The pile supports of the lower folding tables from there a very high load, which can lead to damages of the cam and/or their storage, affects.

[5]

In contrast to this it is task of the available invention to make a pile support available of the kind initially specified which safe stacking of one groß EN number of tables permits, without thereby the function of the pile support is impaired.

[6]

This task becomes erfindungsgemäß by the fact solved that the cam is stored in two camps located on the drag axis on both sides of the cam. Stability is substantially improved by this reciprocal guidance of the tiltable cam of the pile support. Bending moments the affecting the drag axis of the cam can be reduced with a storage of the cam between two camps clearly, so that by the cam also groß e loads without damages in the drag axis or the camps to be taken up can.

[7]

After a preferential execution form of the invention the cam two exhibits distant laterally from this axle ends, which are stored in one of the both bearings in each case. The axle ends can bspw. einstückig with the cam trained its, so that a connection of the cam with the drag axis is void when the assembling of the pile support.

[8]

Alternatively for this it is also possible that the cam is stored on a wave drehfest, which is stored again in the both bearings. The cam can be kept drehfest thereby by a many Kant section of the wave and/or over a parallel key or a such on this. Since the cam is tiltable only in the unloaded condition, if the Klappfüß e of the folding table freely swing-out are, can already a small anti-twist plate of the cam on the wave, bspw. over a tight fit, sufficiently its.

[9]

Over ungleichmäß ige loads with the Klappfuß the folding table connected axle as well as the drag axis of the cam further to minimize, the gear exhibits preferably a first pair more combing with one another the gear wheels and a second pair combing with one another of gear wheels, from those in each case two gear wheels drehfest with the Klappfuß the folding table connected axle and two gear wheels are drehfest with the drag axis of the cam connected. Also the loads of the gear wheels can be able to be manufactured by this organization of the pile support to be reduced, so that these not necessarily as metal gear wheels be designed must, but e.g. from plastic.

[10]

It is preferred, if on the drag axis on both sides of the cam one gear wheel each is located. A particularly favorable organization of the pile support can be achieved by the fact that the gear wheels on the drag axis are arranged between the cam and one of the both bearings in each case. Alternatively for this the camps between the cam and one of the two gear wheels can be arranged.

[11]

If the storage of the axle of the Klappfuß it two camps from each other beabstandete on the axle enclosure, between which the gear wheels are arranged, knows also the storage of the axle of the Klappfuß it high forces or bending moments take up, so that an additional separate storage for the swivelling of the Klappfüß e is not necessary.

[12]

After a preferential execution form is the storage of the axle of the Klappfuß it and the camps of the drag axis of the cam in a housing taking up the gear arranged. The camps as well as the gear can be protected in this way against contamination or damages surely. Besides a lubricant for the camps and/or the gear, if necessary planned, cannot withdraw from the housing.

[13]

The assembly erfindungsgemäß EN of pile support can be facilitated thereby that the housing from at least two boltable with one another housing elements is formed, by which at least one at the desk top is fastenable. The housing can be thereby e.g. from two or more with one another and with the desk top boltable bowls or half shells in an educated manner, those at the same time bushes for the axle of the Klappfuß it and the drag axis of the cam form.

[14]

A economical production of the pile support with high quality can be achieved by the fact that the cam and/or the camps consist totally or partly of plastic. A cover can be put on, their Grö&szlig on the cams; e is so selected that the cover over the folded Klappfüß e and a trim if necessary planned exceed, if the cam away from the desk top extends. The cover can be later with the cam connectable, so that by the selection of the cover the function of the pile support with different Tischgröß EN to be guaranteed can.

[15]

Further educations, advantages and application possibilities of the invention result also from the following description of a remark example and the design. All descriptive and/or figurativy represented characteristics for itself or in arbitrary combination form the subject of the invention, independently of their summary in the requirements or their back relationship.

[17]

On in Fig. 1 ausschnittsweise represented folding table 1 is fastened in the proximity of a corner of the desk top 2 a pile support 3. Is further on in Fig. 1 side shown of the desk top 2, which forms the lower surface in the use condition of the folding table 1, a folding fitting 4 arranged, with which an only ausschnittsweise represented Klappfuß 5 in one essentially parallel to the desk top 2 aligned position and one essentially perpendicularly of the desk top 2 away-rising up position lockable is. The Klappfuß 5 is at an axle 6 tiltable stored, to which into the pile support 3 flows.

[18]

The pile support 3 exhibits a housing 7, of which in Fig. 2 only a base plate as well as one for this is represented to senkrechte side panel 8a. In the side panel 8a as well as in to this parallel side panel the 8b are trained camps 9a and/or 9b by bushes, into which stock areas of the axle 6 are swivelling stored. Further 8b further in each case bushes are intended in the housing 7 in the side panels 8a and, in which for the training of further camps 10a and/or 10b of stock areas are stored, which are intended on an axle end 11a and/or 11 b in each case. The axle ends 11a and 11 b are einstückig trained with a cam 12, is stored which by the axle ends tiltable in the housing 7. The cam 12 is positioned thereby in the center between the two stock areas.

[19]

On the axle 6 of the Klappfuß 5 two and neighbouring gear wheels 13a and 13b arranged from each other beabstandete to the stock areas are drehfest intended. The gear wheels 13a, 13b comb with gear wheels 14a and/or 14b, which on the axle ends 11a, 11b is intended between one of the stock areas and the cam 12 in each case. The gear wheels 14a and 14b can, as in Fig. 2 shown, only in a range, bspw. one itself over for instance 180° extending range provided with teeth its, which stand with those of the gear wheels 13a and/or 13b in interference.

[20]

On the cam 12 a cam cover 15 is put onable and with this bspw. over a Verrastung connectable. The cam cover 15 carries a protective layer 16, which can consist e.g. of felt or rubber at its end. The length of the cam cover is so limited with the fact that the cam 12 with its cam cover 15 in the Fig. 1 and/or 3 represented position at least with its protective layer 16 over a circulating trim 17, planned away-rising up of the desk top 2, at the Seitenkanten of the desk top 2 exceeds.

[21]

In the following the function of the pile support 3 described above is more near described. If the Klappfuß 5 of the folding table 1 position away-rising up into its, extends the cam 12 of the pile support 3 is essentially perpendicularly of the desk top 2 swivelled essentially parallel to the desk top 2. the cam 12 and the cam cover 15 penetrates thus not into the knee free space underneath the circulating trim 17 of the folding table 1, so that the danger does not exist, with the knees or thighs when putting or rising or with the over each other striking of the legs at the cam anzustoß EN.

[22]

Transport or the storage of the folding table 1 the Klappfü&szlig becomes; e 5 from their position into one in Fig, away-rising up from the desk top 2. 2 represented position swivels, into which itself the Klappfüß e 5 approach parallel to the desk top 2 extend. By the interference of the gear wheels 13a, 13b drehfest with the Klappfuß 5 connected axle 6 into the gear wheels 14a, 14b becomes with this connected cams the 12 from its in Fig. 2 position shown in the Fig. 1 and 3 represented position swivels, in which the cam 12 with the cam cover 15 essentially perpendicularly from the desk top 2 away-rises up.

[23]

Since by suitable choice of the length of the cam cover 15 in this position at least the protective layer 16 over the circulating trim 17 exceeds, the desk top of a further folding table can be presented on the pile supports 3 planned at all four corners of the folding table 1, without these with the Klappfuß into contact steps 5 or the circulating trim 17. By the protective layer 16 the desk top of the table lying over it besides against damages, like in particular scratches or such is protected.

[24]

During renewed putting of the Klappfu&szlig up; it 5 becomes the cam 12 of the pile support 3 by the interference of the gear sets 13a, 14a and 13b, 14b again in Fig. 2 represented position back-swivels.

[25]

The cam 12 with the axle ends and gear wheels, the cam cover 15, the housing 7 and/or the gear wheels 13a, 13b can be manufactured from a preferably impact resistant plastic. For the easier assembly the housing 7 can bspw. in an approach parallel to the desk top 2 running level split its, whereby the housing elements with one another and at the desk top 2 bspw. by a screw connection are fastenable.
